Who the bloody hell are the bloody Ting Tings?
Well The Ting Tings sound like Beth Ditto slipping into an elasticated polka-dot number and bumping one of The Pipettes off stage mid-handclap.
And as ungodly as this might sound, it actually works - particularly on the amazing 'That's Not My Name', which you can listen to on the band's MySpace page.
You will also find a picture of singer Katie in Cardiff on said webpage, so don't let it be said that The Ting Tings are not well travelled.
Pop fact: Katie used to be in a band called Dear Eskiimo, who were very good.
