Listen to Sex And Violence and Invisble Light. That should do it.

They disinterest me when they try to be anyway "fun" or jovial but they do have some marvellously overblown epics interspersed throughout their back catalogue.

I really like 'Invisible Light' and I'll check out 'Sex and Violence.' There's a few songs I like from them, but overall I just don't enjoy their work.

19 wipes its bathroom floor with 21.
Up is where we go from here.

Big Hoops. What the fuck is???

It's a certain kind of deprived, rotting, late, delayed, tired mess of Prom Night Dumpster Baby that the world hasn't seen since like 1400 BC. Get with the program sis, the Triassic era is wanting their Diplodocuses back.
Yeah because Lady Gaga is the only pop star of this generation to have an iconic anthematic song. California Gurls says hi. *Eye roll*

Cold Shoulder alone wipes the bathroom floor with 21.

Cold Shoulder is amazing and, in a world without 'Set Fire...' which remains the one brilliant track of 21, I'd agree with you.

Although slating 21 isn't unpopular around these parts, at all.

Rolling In The Deep, Set Fire and Someone Like You aside, 21 is a bit of an overly polished bore. 19, for all its youthful simplicity, is more underdressed but more captivating with it. Daydreamer is still stunning.

  8. #17558
While we're on the subject, 'Distant Dreamer' is better than anything on both albums and deserved to be a 'Someone Like You' sized smash.

21 is the most overrated tripe in the last century, bar 4/5 songs.

Pixie Lott is actually perfect material for a perfect pop star, she just have wrong people in her team...

Quoting for emphasis. Also, agree with the others above 19 >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> 21. Best For Last is an underrated gem.

19 is basically a really weak and faceless debut, bar Daydreamer, Chasing Pavements, Hometown Glory and Make You Feel My Love. 21 gets a bit samey in the middle, but remains a beautiful album.

In My Arms is the best thing Calvin Harris has ever done.

I don't think that's unpopular. It better not be.

Add 'Cold Shoulder' and I agree with every word. '19' is a bit of a mess with some horribly simplistic production and irritating vocal tics galore.

'21' is glorious from beginning to end (Apart from 'Rumour Has It' which whilst not bad is repetitive, derivative and the worst tack by miles).
Check you lipstick before you come and talk to me.............. Let's go Zi Lin!!!

Rumour Has It has definitely shown its wear over time, now with it on the radio all the time in the US. I always forget about Cold Shoulder, but that bridge is marvelous.

In the era of her first album, I always thought The Lott looked a bit grubby, like she needed a good rinse. I think too much make-up was to blame!!!

Can't bear the girl though. It's pretty much a hatred with little basis to-be-fair. I've just tekken agin 'er.
So you like show tunes? That doesn't mean you're gay. It just means you're AWFUL!!!

That first album was dire. I liked her at first, Mama Do and Boys and Girls were pretty good, and she seemed to be a good singer, but that album was really, really terrible. I haven't listened to her second album because of the first one's quality, and the singles haven't made me think I'm missing out on much either.

What happened to her voice, by the way? When she first popped up, she seemed like a really good singer, but lately she seems to have gone down hill.

  21. #17571
She sounded like shite when I saw her live at Tramlines Festival in Sheffield a couple of years ago.

She has those awful runs and tics which make her songs unbearable. If they were sung by somebody else, they would be great.

Now, now. What Do You Take Me For? is fantastic.

I like a few of her album tracks from Turn It Up....Jack was always my fave. It's cutesy.

'What Do You Take Me For' really is fucking brilliant. Rather oxymoronically grubby and sophisticated all at once. Britney totally should have worked with Rusko on 'Femme Fatale' as planned.

Pixie Lott is just the worst. Kiss The Stars should see her struck off the popstar register. She should have to hand in her gun & badge and spend the rest of her life in shame & disgrace.
