It's definitely up there. I think Nothing Fails may possibly be my favourite song of hers.

I'm not sure. On Popjustice there does seem to be quite a bit of love for it in certain quarters.

For me it's her second best album after the poptastic 80s perfection of True Blue. Hollywood remains one of my favourite M singles and it has some beautiful tracks such as Nothing Fails, X-Static Process and the magnificent Intervention. Die Another Day, Mother and Father and Love Profusion are great too. For me it's the last album where Madonna herself really shone through, and where she wasn't trying hard to be something she's not (much as I also love Confessions in a different way).
So you like show tunes? That doesn't mean you're gay. It just means you're AWFUL!!!

Call My Name, Starships and Call Me Maybe are the three best songs of 2012 so far.

Pay Yo Pu$$y Bill by Khia is 4th for a ratchet-ass bonus.
Yeah because Lady Gaga is the only pop star of this generation to have an iconic anthematic song. California Gurls says hi. *Eye roll*

Call My Name is really bad though. Some of the lyrics literally make no sense, it's like there was a typo and they all just went with it.

And by "they" I mean everyone but Cheryl, who clearly had no part in the song aside from some dead-as-fuck vocals, even by her standard.

Hot Problems says hi and it wants it's title back.

Some of the lyrics are brilliant though!

"It's an endless circle, a poison arrow to my heart" is my favourite. Might not mean too much factually, but her cold, distant delivery really puts a message across so well. It's such an addictive song. I really like her 'dead' vocals, it's strange. I can't really see many other girls making the song as credible or as convincing as how she does it.

So true. But it's got God status- it's like Friday or Swagger Jagger. You don't question its brilliance by listing/ranking it against others, it exists in its own perfect vacuum.

I dunno, I find it disappointing. If there's one thing you can rely on in this crazy, crazy world then it's very fucking good Cheryl lead singles. Without that, I don't know what to think... :(

if you don’t like me, don’t fucking follow me, and to my fans, i wasn’t calling you stupid, i was just saying, if you guys don’t speak for me, then who the fuck will. i have you, my husband and thats about it.

i’m a regular fucking human being with regular fucking feelings and emotions. i get pissed and rage, and i cry and get my feelings hurt and i have bad days and good days just like everyone of you. you guys act like once someone becomes a celebrity they turn into a fucking robot.

well i’m not a fucking robot and everyone who feels like i am can suck my fucking pussy.

and to all the gaga fans, doesnt she preach equality and peace and love and all this shit?! cause i’ve never been treated so disrepectfully by anyone but a fucking gaga fan. telling me to kill myself and shit? tupac would have had ya’ll shot by now. you fans are the reason some people don’t fucking like gaga, it’s the same reason some people don’t believe in god, because these good “christians” running around being racist and gay bashers, but guess what, you gaga fans are exactly the same, a bunch of little fucking judas’s, and its not just a fucking song, read the fucking bible. stop sitting behind your computers talking shit and go get a life and actually follow what your fucking queen preaches. ”YOU WERE BORN THIS WAY”

i’m on a different level then everyone else, people are below me, you little shit talkers are probably below me, and guess what, there are actually people below you, and people above me, so don’t act like i’m all high and fucking mighty.

and when all is said and done, none of this internet shit matters, i’ll be chillin on my private jets and living in my villas drinkin jameson reserve, rollin a blunt and poppin xanex and i don’t really give a fuck what most of you are going to be doing. this is below me

to my fans, thank you so much for all the support, you guys are fucking incredible.

to everyone else, go eat a dick.

    fuck you very much.

I do love an articulate popstar.

I saw that before! I was howling.

She reminds me of Tanisha from Bad Girls Club.

Porcelain Black just shot up my 'Cool Scale' to 5/10, from a previous dismal 1.2/10 effort.

Sugababes 1.0 are incredibly boring and have no redeeming tracks.

Thank God for Heidi and Richard X coming along because from then until the moment Keisha left they were exceptional.

Despite having some Very Good Tunes, Nelly Furtado is a charlmess, unconvincing charisma vacuum with dead eyes to rival Britney's and a nasal bleat to beat Rihanna's earliest stuff.

    THERE, I SAID IT.

  16. #17416
I love a lot of Nelly's music, but I totally agree personality wise. There's nothing there.
    The Janines...

  17. #17417
    She has nice eyes!
Up is where we go from here.

  18. #17418
I don't know, Nelly seems past playing the pop game. She's just doing what she's doing, and I think she rolls her eyes a bit when people assume she's a rival to the Britney's and Rihanna's because of Loose.

    I like her cold delivery.
I'm about to drown in the ocean.

'Hot Problems' is one of the best songs of this year.

    I'm glad Mini Viva's I Wish flopped. It's shit.

Vocalists who try and sing songs too big for them should be shot for a) wasting a song that could have been brilliant on their shit selves (e.g. Impossible - Shontelle) and b) sounding like dying cats.

It's funny how Rihanna isn't exactly famed for her vocals yet they're the only thing that turn Only Girl from okayish into MYFUCKTHISISGOOD.

Actually, that's not completely true - I've always hated the dreary verses, but that chorus - gosh damn.
