X Factor USA 2012 - Season 2

Simon Cowell and L.A. Reid are joined on the judging panel by Britney Spears and Demi Lovato. The winner will receive a $5 million recording contract. The 2nd season will begin airing on Fox on September 12, 2012.

I just don't feel like The X Factor works in the US no matter who is judging. It was just so boring, and with Britney Spears on the panel I don't see that improving. As an American, I enjoyed watching the UK version so much more.

I always look at that top picture of the four of them at the desk and think - why is there a child there and why do we never have any younger, fit men as judges in these UK/USXF and AI shows? They should take a page out of The Voice US.

I agree, this should come back so much bigger this time around. They have got more star power, hype, and will have learnt from their mistakes from the first series (although getting 10m a week, is still great ratings).

I think it's weird that the show has no host yet, though. It's going to be strange having the people in the auditions talking backstage, but just to the camera and not an actual person...

Demi is such a star and she's really funny. I'm gonna enjoy seeing her argue with Simon.

How is she a hate figure? Out of all the Kardashians, people have always liked her the best. And she has alot of personality, I would hate to see Kelly Osbourne, I can't stand her on Fashion Police, and I'm sure she would be just as terrible on X Factor.

If anyone should host it should be RuPaul..but that would never happen, haha!

I actually think Demi will be the star of the panel as already mentioned. She's young, enthusiastic and seems much more alive than Britney just based on the numerous promos we've already seen.
