I found their last 2 performances to be the best. I love Kree but Candice took the house down with her last performance! amazing. I'm glad Mariah put her in her top 3 all those weeks ago.

What a funny, understated finale though
I've only watched a little bit of the finale, but what was up the part when Kree was shaking her head at the part where Ryan said that they both had to wait hours to audition during the bit when he was talking about the upcoming audition dates? She shook her head then asked Candice something and Candice shook her head as well. Weird.
Anyway, all three of these singles are underwhelming. They aren't anywhere near the top of the all-time worst Idol coronation singles, but as pleasant as they might be, they all fall kind flat and don't really go anywhere. I probably like Candice's the best though.

But I'm Beautiful !! is not the musical direction she should be going post idol, Kree's song may not have been any better but at least it was exactly the type of song she should be making
Having said that i've just listened to the single version and it's different to what she sang last night. Including auto tune !!

To my complete surprise I thoroughly enjoyed that finale. It helped of course that 'Popjustice' was served.

I always get all choked up whenever a proper legend is announced halfway through a performance but getting teary at Frankie Valli is really shameful.
What the fuckety fuck was Mariah doing??? A kind of stars on 45 medley, mimed to shonky vocal track. Very odd. And who was the person in silhouette at the beginning of her bit? She never appeared??? Was it a bad edit from the performance before or something?

Poor Kree. It's the biggest night of your life and you can't wait to find out which superstar you're going to sing with and it ends up being 2 of the judges and Travis Barker on drums???
Angie stole the show. Her and Adam were great and the she gets Jessie J as well (Who looked maze by the way).
The Brit girls are taking over :-). Emeli Sande has had her songs sung 4 times in the last 3 weeks I think. Next To You has been sung for the last 2 weeks and it's not even a very big hit (#28 in the US) Her album peaked at #26. For the first time in history Simon Cowell is using his power to promote good music!!!
Randy's send off was a lackluster affair.
Janelle was great even if that country Riverdance troupe she had to perform with where a tad odd.
It worries me that Candice's album is out so soon. That suggests that Jimmy Iovine has already decided what songs to force her to sing and they'll be shit. Hopefully Emile is on board (And a duet with Darnell) is a must.
I assumed Dionne was coming on at the end but she didn't. so we just got more Bacharach/David songs for no apparent reason.
How can you seriously have singing contest and then get JLo and Psy to guest star???
Best season since forever. Hopefully they can sort out the judges and song choices next season but overall not bad.

I seem to recall mjsbigblog reporting something a while back about the contestants getting whisked away to writing camps during the final weeks of the competition, presumably to get a headstart on the songs for an album.
