Okay, so this has been bugging me recently. When I was younger, late 1990's, there was a song sung by a female artist, I have no idea who sang it, or what it was called, however I have these clues -

    - The chorus was her singing gibberish, similar to this BOPdooda-dada-doodum on a loop. It was very jolty and electric.

    - I always assumed it was by Bjork, and I have a connection with this song and her Hunter music video... this may be completely random, but the Bjork connection is quite strong so it must mean something.

    Hope you can help, cheers!

    Maybe Me & My - Dub I Dub ? http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XTjJ2_P5P4U (not really Björk-ish, though)

No, it's not that (also, what a strange video!) Thanks though.

I also thought about this: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mAR2i...eature=related
    I does go "dooda-dada-doodum" on a loop, but it's early 90s... ?

No, it's not that either. It's mid-tempo, and was played alot in the 90's. It may have been a band featuring a female singer - bit the chorus was really distinctive.

I highly doubt that's the song you're in search of (and it's from 2000) but you never know...

What you can do is record (via a mic/webcam) what you remember of it using http://vocaroo.com , and post it here, it might be easier to find it.

No, it's not that - although I love that song!

The song I'm trying to find has a much darker feel to it. Less euro-pop, more electro. I'm thinking 1996-8, could be later though.

    No its not those suggestions.

Maybe it is Bjork? I only have her Greatest Hits and albums after, could it have been an early single that was left off the GH album, or has she featured on any songs?

The more I think of it, the "Bopduddadadadudum-Bopdudadadadudum" was perhaps more of the post-chorus part.
