For pureness, clarity and strength of vocal I always think Tina Arena is the best female vocalist.

Whatever use lot listen to this if you don't believe me!!!
Or skip to 2:50 on this one for some real stunning vocals that wipe the floor with Celine:
having a better range does not mean being a better vocalist.
i personally prefer celine, as i feel she connects more with the song better than mariah, but that's just my taste.
clearly both of them are among the best of the best in the business and this is a fact.
What!! Are you for real?! Jessica is a phenomenal vocalist!! Celine is ok she has good songs but she is no way an amazing vocalist she just shrieks and it sounds painful.
I'm not sure what's worse: the fact that Jessica Simpson is being suggested as 'one of the best vocalists of our time' or that the above performance, where she's off key for much of the song and shouts nearly all of it, is being presented as evidence of this.
I never thought I'd hear anything worse than her laughable attempt at sounding 'sexy' on These Boots Are Made For Walkin', but clearly I was wrong.
Well whatever you guys... I obvisouly can't win. But if you are saying Jessica shrieks and is off key and all that then the same could be said for Celine so in that case Mariah is the superior vocalist.
Case closed!!!!
Do you have any evidence for the prosecution of Celine shrieking and being off key ??
Just listen to her greatest hits..
So that's a no then.
Those Jessica Simpson videos are hilarious. I'd assumed you were joking and after listening to them I know you have to be.
Check you lipstick before you come and talk to me.............. Let's go Zi Lin!!!
Why is Jessica Simpson screaming?
"I do not care about critics, too, I care for my ears basically." - vas
Jessica sounded great.
Not a huge fan of either, but definitely Mariah. Not only vocally but musically as well.
Maria Callas says γειά.
“I heard it. I immediately was so sick by it and upset that I turned over and went back to sleep.”
