I really liked her first album. Unwritten and Pocketful of Sunshine are great songs!

All three of her albums have been brilliant. Unwritten and Strip Me a bit more obviously so, but don't count N.B. out just because of the weird Erotica-lite cover. It's a little bit more mellow and doesn't really have any huge THIS IS AMAZING moments like Unwritten or Touch but most of the tracks on it are really solid.
She's not particularly hated outside of the confines of this forum (and even then hate is stretching it), just forgotten about because of her lack of UK activity. Why is she not particularly liked on the forum? A combination of a big poptastic first album followed by something not quite so in your face, pissing off to America and releasing one of her best songs there and not here, and being an ambassador of empowerment-pop. We as a community tend to run from all the prior three like the plague. Empowerment-pop has been tainted so such by Jessie J that I almost understand why the distaste rubs off on Natasha but she was around first, doing it better.
But if people insist on their continued dislike, more fool them. I'll keep Touch, Pocketful Of Sunshine, Strip Me, These Words, I Bruise Easily, Neon Lights, Pirate Bones, Break Thru, I'm A Bomb, Weightless, Unwritten and All I Need to myself.

http://twitter.com/gingerandloud | I used to be called Numerology but David_X is better isn\'t it. The X makes it sound cooler.
"Pirates Bones" frickin' deserved a Diddy-Dirty Moneyesque "Coming Home"esque type music video.

I feel no shame in admitting I often put on I Bruise Easily and get really emotional and have a "this is a song about my life" type moment.
I don't think Natasha has ever been 'hated'. I've been on the forum for a long time and whenever someone has something negative to say about her it's from a point of indifference more than hate.
Meet your new stepmom, kid.
Has anyone who seriously responded even read the opening post?
Ontopic though I'd add Soulmate to her list of amazing songs.
I did mean it as a serious topic though - she's pretty, had a number of hits, but always seem to excite a collective eye-roll whenever her name is brought up.

Because at some point it was cool to hate her. Mostly because of I Wanna Have Your Babies (which isn't THAT bad actually).
Strip Me was great and it's a shame it was ignored... Touch & Run Run Run are amazing!

I know that for me personally N.B kind of dashed my interest in her. I kind of loved "babies", it had Nadine in the video, but overall she just kind of fell off my radar after i bought the album and had no interest in it.
The funny thing is this is Britney's second video with a horse, the first being Me Against The Music
I really like Natasha, but it's true she's kinda faded away after Unwritten. She's an amazing singer, nonetheless.

Wasn't it that weird duet with Daniel at the Brits that made them seen incestuous that did it?

Eh, you can all take a hike with the Babies shade - it's the perfect song for when it's sunny and you're freshly in love*. Plus, the last 10-15 seconds totally make the song!
*sort of explains why I'm still single...
Only sort of?
Soulmate is her best song.
I don't understand the first post either - I'm pretty out of touch though. What does the black women.com thing mean??
