I'm really not sure if there was a thread for her album, there probably was, if you are not familiar with Skylar Grey, she wrote most of Love The Way You Lie (Eminem & Rihanna) she has also featured in Coming Home (Diddy Dirty Money), I Need A Doctor (Dr Dre & Eminem), Words I Never Said (Lupe Fiasco) & Kaskade's Room For Happiness

She has already released the buzz single Dance Without You, and the first single Invisible.

I thought there should be a thread as I noticed that she released the second single Tower on the 5th June

This albums looking like it's going to be delayed for over a year. She's released nothing since that EP and seems to have fallen off the face of the earth, which is a shame. It was originally due last November and at this rate i doubt we'll hear it this November.

Oh, and Tower wasn't released as a Single. That's an acoustic version she did for a radio station last year. No idea why it's popped up online as the studio version.

Oh really, how disappointing, Wikipedia has deceived me once again, but I did spot the artwork

Besides that I went through her tweets and she retweeted someone saying they hope she doesn't become Skylar Dre and take forever to release it, hopefully she'll get things rolling soon

That artwork is quite nice, although incredibly fake. If i don't hear some new skylar material before the end of the summer i'm going to give up.

She definitely deserves to be bigger, I just hope her debut album isn't going to be shelved in some dusty office never to be heard of again, because I loved Invisible and Dance Without You (not so keen on that new song Tower though).

She's been performing it live for over a year maybe you've come across a video of it at some point.

"Building a Monster" is going to be released in "Frankenweenie" OST on September 25:



She was also featured as a guest vocal in two songs from Slaughterhouse's last album ("Our House ft. Eminem" and "Rescue Me").

No word on her album yet.
