*View both as being pretty bland popstars and I don't (or never have in Heidi's case) care for either of them, but Jade just gets a higher position for being a technically better popstar.


Lineups was the hardest one to rank. While I prefer every original member to their replacement counterpart, as well as One Touch being my favourite album of theirs the 2.0 time of Sugababes does still feel like it was the 'best' time, and has my fondest memories of the group. Ultimately though my preference for members and the 1.0 album being my favourite just wins out.

I was a fan from the beginning, they have my top 2 songs and the top album. Quality>Quantity.

They had some shit over the years but so much gold too that it was worth it.

Pre-Sweet 7 they had consistent good quality but relatively few standout tracks that could go toe-to-toe with the best of 1.0/2.0.
4. 4.0
They never had a chance - I'm just not a fan of Jade's voice, especially in a group, and the material they were given didn't come close to overcoming that.
