I did my bit yesterday - drove down Brighton seafront in my old VW camper van with Euphoria blaring out on repeat. Maybe that'll sell a download or two!

Thank you for mentioning Sophie in the second best thread on the forum [the first being Sophie's, clearly].

Still #15 in Italy. It needs to get some airplay, which is probably never going to happen.

She's flying to the UK either tonight or tomorrow morning for some promo. Amazing!

YAY! Do you know if it's tv or radio?

The video needs to take place on a lonely beach. Her performance may have been dark but they need to capitalise on this song as a 'Summer Smash'. A cheap and easy concept filmed on a beach would do wonders.

That Rudimental song is so shit.
    "Ardent Rihanna mud-slinger"

No, the dark epicness of the performance just needs to be put into a video. Basically the total opposite of the Single Ladies video with it just being filmed in a black room rather than a white one.

I imagined a dark forest a la Leona Lewis' 'Run'. The dance routine would be incorporated also, with the transition to a early morning forest complete with rays of sun taking place over the song's duration.
I'm about to drown in the ocean.

Her team just needs to sit down and watch Kate Bush's 80s videos and draw from that.

The performance reminds me of something Kate would do if she was still down for that sort of thing.

What this video needs is space elements: a starry night sky, aurora boeralis, a spinning galaxy, the moon, an eclipse. Something.

The track record for videos when it comes to Swedish Eurovision entries isn't exactly "good", so here's to hoping they put some effort into this.

But let's have a look at This Is My Life for inspiration: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=psEtXw8Ce5M&ob=av2n

And this is looking good for the UK: http://www.facebook.com/questions/10150994163511763/

Because of a few mishaps I hadn't heard Euphoria since the first Melodifestivalen qualifier until today, but it really is quite OK, isn't it!? Thomas G:son doesn't only churn out rubbish. He was at this event too, in central Stockholm. (In the square where Quincy Jones sits in my avatar, by the way.) I shot this one-minute snippet of the acoustic version.
It feels like I've taken a time machine from our beloved 70s, to a time when records don't exist and music is taken intravenously instead.

Well, it's no Taken By A Stranger.

    But what is?

Thomas G:son was behind 'In a Moment Like This' and 'Invincible' was he not? Quite the guy.

And that acoustic version is amazing!

This is pretty much his discography: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Thomas_..._final_entries

Quite something. The best song in the lot which you probably haven't heard is Something In Your Eyes: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gUi-vZC9jsg

I cannot put into words how grateful I am for you posting this. I had no idea, that is my absolute favourite Bjork song. THANK YOU!

My Heart Is Refusing Me is my song of the moment. Even better than Euphoria.
˝She is a sexy, bionic woman, and every damn one of you will deal as she shits on your faves.˝ BEST FICTION.

When I saw the performance on Eurovision I was reminded of that part in Memoirs of A Geisha where Chiyo performs with the snow falling on her, I'd love the video to be reminiscent of that, quite Japanese like.

Uh, never thought of that. Snow is there. Just no umbrellas, please, or we'll have to deal with the Rihanna comparisons..

    Always been better than Euphoria!

Almost 9.05 AM, so she should be on BBC Breakfast soon.

So he did Spain's entry this year as well? I loved that - amazing ballad.

Yes this! The whole Kate Bush thing would work for her, same hair, even my mum agrees haha, She just needs to do it quickly though

There was quite a lot of support for that one here last year. Like:

Loreen for Düsseldorf!

Not my first choice, but a good choice anyway, and one that probably even has a decent shot this year.

Vocals are incredible and she is really beautiful as well, how she didn't make it to the finals amazes me. I looked at her performance and i can admit that it was pretty dull, not much going on but her vocals were so good that i couldn't care less, and getting her better clothes and something else to do on stage is easy to fix.
I remember at that time looking at this video of Nassim Al Fakir interviewing her, like he was live yesterday, feeling sad knowing she probably wouldn't get to Globen. He points to it at the end asking her if she thinks she'll get there, but she says she can only hope. The point I link to is her doing an opera note, which she says helps her sing better. And her singing is really good!

Loved her on BBC Breakfast! A nice little surprise to see her show up. Didn't know she could speak English so well.

She's got a great personality, she's clearly really engaged and focused in her art and her performance, and the fact that she's travelled all the way here to do some promo instead of living it up in Sweden shows she's motivated towards success.

So I suppose the whole meditiating in the woods for a week was a bit of bullshit then?
Yeah because Lady Gaga is the only pop star of this generation to have an iconic anthematic song. California Gurls says hi. *Eye roll*
