Apparently their Netflix and Hulu deals played a big part in their decisions. Netflix paid $1b in a four year deal to carry CW shows and Hulu paid $75m in a five year deal. Neither of them want a ton of shows that were cancelled after one season.

I actually think this is a good show, so I'm happy it's renewed.

Holy crap, this is completely unexpected given the ratings. Now they need to seriously up their game with the writing, which went haywire in the final couple of episodes. More Walt.

I heard Austen Butler had signed on to be a regular on another show though. Just rumours?
