Big Brother - New Series (Channel 5)

Seems to of come around awfully fast, not that im complaining as its been rather great since moving to Channel 5 (Karissa & Kristina off CBB, Tashie, Rebeckah, Alex & of course Heaven were all amazing).

Yay! I know it's the done thing to slag Big Brother off these days but the last Celebrity one on Channel 5 was one of the best ever series (only beaten for me by the double whammy of Jackie Stallone and John McCririck!).

Last year's normal series was OK, not one of the best but still very watchable, and I would like more of a mix of ages this year with a few less of the glamour girl types.

There is also going to be a wildcard housemate this year that we can vote into the house which should be good (this was only done once before I think, way back in BB2 with Josh).

Bring it on!

I thought the last normal series started off really well, but naturally it went a bit crap when all the entertaining people were evicted in the first few weeks.

Yeah after the flawless Heaven went it began to nosedive quite quickly, it was still a very decent series though overall.

Aaron was still one of the most interesting housemates of all time. The last normal one was one of the best series ever, even with Heaven and Rebeckah getting evicted too early. The producers just need to fix it this time around by giving housemates constant tasks to gain immunity, tasks that they know the interesting housemates will be good at.

Rebeckah was my favourite housemate last year, just the right mix of bonkers and bitchy to be a brilliant housemate. I had hoped that finally changing it to a vote to save may have helped but sadly it didn't really seem to change anything and we were left with all the boring housemates (though I did love Aaron). Jem was such a waste of a housemate. Apparently Jay and Louise are getting married soon and Alex revealed herself to be the fake playing the "ditzy blonde" role I always thought she was!

So sad. I remember when she was up for eviction in week one, was gutted when she was evicted. Poor chick.

I like it, it looks really good. I'm a bit disappointed that the stairs and diary room are in the same place but oh well.

I lost my breath at the sight of Heaven's name in this thread. Heaven Africa, she was absolutely divine. Alex will forever be my favourite from that season, her getting third place was robbery.

I hope we have some amazing housemates tonight. I want them in the league of Makosi, Alexandra De Gale, Aisleyne, Grace....
