Even more than New Girl, it seems to bank almost entirely on how much you can tolerate a single personality. That can become problematic really fast.

I liked it a lot but it's not laugh out loud funny really. Just amusing. Mindy is likable and the guys at the hospital are fun. It seemed like a bit of a cartoon world though where people go to weddings, get arrested for disorderly conduct, go on a date, deliver a baby and hook up with their casual sex buddy all in the space of 24 hours. They should slow it down a bit.

It's Mindy's monologues and internal thoughts that really make it. I laughed so hard at the "is it the one with insurance?" moment.

The pilot was good! My favourite line from it is a bit random though. I just found it hilarious when Danny changes the channel to that weird fish show and she asks 'there are different episodes of this?'

The 18-49 rating is more important. It scored a 2.4 which is slightly disappointing but acceptable.

I didn't think the pilot was that great but I rarely love a show based on the pilot.

All of Fox's comedies are in trouble so the ratings for this episode aren't THAT bad.

The last episode was actually pretty funny although first I gave up the hope that it's getting better but hopefully this episode was not just and exception.

They've been airing episodes slightly out of order so the next episode is technically Episode 3 after which it'll be Episode 7. Comedy shows in their first season tend to get better so they end up airing the later filmed episodes at the start of the run and then the quality suddenly seems to drop because the early episodes have to be aired midway through.

I love this show, I hope more people tune in! I feel like Mindy has the same internal thought process as me, it's so great!

I know this show isn't actually very good but I can't help enjoying it.

They just need stop making the Gossip Girl minion put on that awful Jersey accent.
