I'm not one for worshiping the ground Tim Burton walks on, particularly as I haven't enjoyed many of his recent films. I did however like the idea that it's based on a gothic supernatural soap opera set in the 70s.

The casting was very strong, the costumes were immaculate and it was relatively funny. However, I didn't enjoy the storyline and I felt as if they kept forgetting about certain characters.

I agree , I feel though that was because it's based on a TV series, and I don't think they did the best job of translating it from a series of different episodes, to a fully fledged film.

Chloe Moretz, what happened?! She was great and Let Me In but literally painful in this. It was most predictable film ever aswell, I said exactly what was going to happen about 5 times, including the ending.
