I fear a couple of people may not have survived the forum switch, but let's not break a good tradition and keep awarding our 12 points! And you never know, it may bring back some old faces to the new forum!

As in previous editions of Popjustice: 12 Points, voting is done via PM to me. Because the new PM system is still shaky, please post in this thread that you have sent them (without giving away your points!) so I can verify if all votes have been received!

Voting closes Tuesday May 15th at 3 PM UK time.

    1. FIRST SEMI FINAL VOTE

Eligible: Montenegro, Iceland, Greece, Latvia, Albania, Romania, Switzerland, Belgium, Finland, Israel, San Marino, Cyprus, Denmark, Russia, Hungary, Austria, Moldova and Ireland

    As in Eurovision each member awards 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7 8, 10 and 12 points.

    2. SECOND SEMI FINAL VOTE

Eligible: Serbia, FYR of Macedonia, The Netherlands, Malta, Belarus, Portugal, Ukraine, Bulgaria, Slovenia, Croatia, Sweden, Georgia, Turkey, Estonia, Slovakia, Norway, Bosnia and Herzegovina and Lithuania

    As in Eurovision each member awards 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7 8, 10 and 12 points.

I've voted, and I've realized that even with my two favorite songs in the whole contest being in the 2nd semifinal, I prefer the first...
"Sometimes I hate myself for wanting you, but then you only have to say you love me to make it worth it..."

  3. #3
Voted. I definitely prefer the first semi-final too.

  4. #4
    Have voted too!

  5. #5
Have voted as well now, my goodness Semi 2 was hard going. - But saying that, there aren't 10 songs I like in either semi so...

First of all, thank you all so much for voting and sticking with this! I'd feared this year's PJ vote would just be me posting my 12 points, haha!

I think most people assumed the top 2 for semi final 2 would easily be Sweden and Norway (in whatever order), right? Well... at this moment that isn't the case... Although nothing's set in stone yet, as I haven't even voted myself!

Voted! It'll be interesting to see the results.

    Votes received, popknark!

Voting closes Tuesday May 15th at 3 PM UK time, so if anyone still wants to you've got less than 24 hours left to PM me!

  9. #9
Just a couple of hours left now! Even if you're a brand new member, don't hesitate to PM me your votes!

    Voted for the final

Has anyone ever got 12 points across the board before? Loreen is uniting ballad lovers, dance fans and people who gave Portugal 8 points.

Also had to laugh at Belarus qualifying despite not getting more than 3 points from anybody.

Have voted for the final too!

    1) I love that the animated scoreboard is back! It was fun watching it like that. Although I did see the first photo before I watched, but I didn't know it was Ivi.
    2) Voted!
    3) CAN IT BE NEXT WEEK ALREADY MY GOD

Votes from all three have been received!

I'm having the hardest time deciding my own votes. I've narrowed it down to eleven countries and I keep changing my mind on which one gets bumped out.

All voted! Thanks once again Charley for putting this on this year (especially with all the new board and the funky workings)

I think we already all know who's going to win, so now a interesting race for second I guess...

I don't seem to have received your votes, cjwhite1, could you send them again?

    Votes received, cjwhite1!

    Edit: And yours too, popknark!

I must say I'm surprised Latvia didn't go through. Even though I personally don't like it that much, it's one of the poppiest and catchiest songs this year so I thought it'd go down better on here. AT LEAST better than Austria and Israel!

"You And Me" seems to be this year's "Haba Haba" in that everyone seems to like it except from me.

Oh, and I've voted! (It was quite hard - I have decided that I think 14 of the songs this year are really, really good. Hard to give four of them nul points.)

    I can't believe I missed the semi-finals. Boo.

Meanwhile, I got to interview Mandinga. Well, interview via their PR man via e-mail. I'm still a little sketchy as to whether that actually happened. But whatever, c'est here: http://www.afar.com/afar/will-romani...vision-contest

Lovely interview, and it makes me enjoy my subscription to Afar magazine even more now than I already did.

On another note, that dansband version of "Euphoria" kind of makes me want to kill myself.

I don't think I've listened to enough to vote in this but I'm very pleased to see the animated scoreboard is back up and I must watch the semis now! Interested to see how Popjustice ranks the final. Hoping Anggun can get the result she deserves on here at least!

EDIT: Just watched, Ivi and especially Loreen walking their semis is not at all surprising. APPALLED at the lack of votes for Valentina though - Clearly The Social Network Song is just too serious for Popjustice.
