The song is brilliant, I'm really impressed with it. The video isn't great, but it's not terrible either. It shouldn't hinder it at least.

Is there anywhere for people in the US to watch it?

Indeed it was. She had the X factor so to speak, I mean week 1 showed that. She could've sung RITD like that at the Grammys and it would've been amazing.

Oh. I didn't know she was on Simco.
WE LIKE TO PARTAAAAY. AAAAAY. AAAAAY. AAAAAY. AAAAAY. AAAAAY. AAAAAY.

I don't think so,US fans can't see it. It'll be on someone elses channel soon enough.

The YT video was blocked for mobile but isn't anymore, so maybe they'll unblock it for US in a bit.

I like the video, although it could have been a bit better...I wish the choreo was clearer and more aggressive, instead of being constantly spliced with other things. She looks great though.

She does indeed. I think for live performances there will be more. I'd prefer it that way. Live sells the record (as well as a lot of airplay).

Definitely. I'm hoping for an epic X-Factor performance with lots of dutty whining and that 'guns' thing Rihanna does.

I hope this goes to #1. It would be lovely, lovely karma for a certain person.

I like Misha lots, but it's a bit anticlimactic. 'MNEK production' seems interchangeable with 'cheap production'. Don't get the fuss over him.

MNEK is a talentless hack. And are some of the posts in this thread serious? 'Poor Misha'? She was the one doing the bullying.
    What the hell.

I forgot you was there. Anyway, this isn't a song that's tailored to be #1...obviously she deserves to be but she will have a lot going against her right out the gate. It was clear that she was going to be held back on the X Factor by the viewers because of her race and style, the bullying accusations just gave them an excuse. That's all old news anyway.

I really like the production actually. I really like MNEK as a producer, quite subtle.

The video is exactly how I imagined a Misha B video to be. Well Misha B's first music video anyway. So well done!

LMAO!! Except Mish can pull it off. We saw Rih in Pon de replay...no gangsta at ALL.

The whole package is there, she deserves to be a star. She is like Chakka Khan on acid. Amazing. She has charisma in spades and managed correctly I think she could be HUGE. Surely she will get a X-Factor live slot? Right?
A little cynicism will do you good

This should be in the top five or something.

This is released on 15th July and the X Factor live shows won't have started by then. So any X Factor promo for this song would be a bit of a waste in my opinion but hopefully she will perform her second single on the show.

It's alright but her voice is so gluttonous. Like you're trying to swallow golden syrup. Eurgh.

Has totally grown on me, at first I thought it was a mess. Third time, more so of a hot mess but now I quite like it! I'm glad she's doing her own thing and not being some disco kween.

Unrelated somewhat but remember during her performance of 'Born This Way' when she do that bug-squashing move? Legendary.
    "Ardent Rihanna mud-slinger"

I really like this song, the video is a bit crappy but first videos are always horrifically low budget (Swagger Jagger anyone?). Not sure it will have massive commercial success though as its not mainstream enough, still, I always thought she should have won that series and she was easily the most talented - naturally that was why she never made the final.
Half psychotic, sick hypnotic, got my blueprint, its symphonic

I think Swagger Jagger had a normal budget - it just looked shit.

Are you serious? This is the same show that crowned Leona and Alexandra winners and made JLS into stars, so I really don't get where you're coming from there at all. The bullying thing was unfair but I think she peaked too early in the competition to have won it anyway, and you're right that her quirky style may have gone against her after a while. X Factor viewers do have a habit of voting for the safe option (Leon, Joe etc).

I think the success of this single and of Misha as an artist depends almost entirely on whether the media will support her. If she gets radio play, tv slots and favourable press then there's every chance she will do well. If not then I don't rate her chances, but the music is definitely strong enough from what we've heard so far, so that won't be the problem if she flops. Radio 1 seem to be supporting the single so that's a very positive sign, but then they also supported Aiden's track so it's obviously not the be all and end all. I hope she succeeds because she's hugely talented and interesting to boot.

So the single is out now! 59p on iTunes. I wonder how well it will do. I just bought it.
