"Children are playing the 'T-ara Game' and copying their bullying."
    Screaming.

My life lacks this corny U-KISS song in HQ. When is the single out? (I was good and even checked the release thread...)
    Is pop just Popjustice?

Nothing like unbearable tragedy to bring people together.

I went to the 2NE1 show last night, and it was completely fabulous. The creative direction was on point and totally in line with the aesthetic they've established for themselves.

Dara is SO. CUTE. She spoke a little bit of English before she did Kiss..."Normally I'm supposed the cute one, but tonight I want to be sexy." OMG I died. She is so adorable and is totally rocking her hairstyle. After she finished, a camera followed her off stage to their dressing room where they were all frantically getting ready for the next performance as I'm Busy played in the background. I thought that was a nice touch.

I think the last half of the show was where things really clicked, particularly the In the Club/Stay Together/I Love You section which had a really cool, laid back vibe that just really worked with the tone of those songs. This version of In the Club was amazing (specifically the extended intro before the girls got on stage...I got chills), and I Love You seemed to go over especially well with the crowd. I wish I could relive I Love You because it was so good. I think I listened to it about 15 times in a row on the train ride home as a result.

    Other highlights:
    - Ugly is a pretty a divisive song, but it was sooooo great live. The crowd really seemed to enjoy it.
    - Please Don't Go. Obviously an awesome song, and the crowd freaked when it started playing. The screens were supposed to create the illusion that CL and Minzy were riding a rollercoaster during the first verse and chorus. Really cute.
    - Hate You also went over well, which I thought was interesting/unexpected even though I've always loved the song.
    - Scream is so freaking awesome. It didn't register in my head beforehand that they would perform it, so I lost my mind when the intro started playing.
    - Lonely is a stone cold classic.
    - Let's Go Party, Go Away, and Can't Nobody were collectively an amazing rainbow explosion. Go Away ranks in the bottom half of 2NE1 singles, but they really know how to work it in a live setting. I think 90% of the reason I wanted to see 2NE1 live was to witness the outro of Can't Nobody in the flesh, and it did not disappoint. Let's Go Party is in the running for my favorite 2NE1 song so clearly I'm glad they busted it out for this tour.
    - Special props go to the band, who did some interesting things with the songs and came up with really cool interludes between performances.

The crowd was made up of an interesting mix of people…NYU hipster types, goths, rocker dudes (random), older couples (also random), groups of young girls and their moms/dads, etc. While we were waiting to get into the arena (for like almost two hours...lame), I was standing next to a mother/daughter duo who ended up talking to a group of college aged girls behind them. The girls asked the mom (who said she was 55) if she was familiar with 2NE1, and she said, "Oh my god, yes. My daughter was showing me some videos, and they are so great. I think I'll be screaming louder than her. They seem to be really great performers. I'm really looking forward to this." I thought that was cute.

Ultimately the whole thing just reiterated the amazingness of 2NE1's catalogue. Something about their music reminds me of being a little girl with no worries in the world. In conclusion, 2NE1 for life.

Also just a question, how full was the venue? Did they sell out?

Let's play the T-ara game to know the differences of our levels of determination.

    By the way, welcome D!

I know you aren't asking me direct but from pictures and videos I saw it looked very full. Not sold out I'm sure, apparently SM Town can't even sell out the LA venue so it's not too surprising 2NE1 on their own won't.

    So proud of our girls.

I have a question, is Scream in Korean or Japanese?

I need a separate comment to say... HARA LOOKS SO GOOD! I'm teased enough DSP, give me the MV already!

Some say 15000 people attended the show. I hope somebody confirms it because it seems too big.

Behind the scenes of Pandora, we can hear some small snippets of it!

"On the topic of the hoobae idol group they have their eyes on, KARA picked SISTAR, listing their healthy, feminine bodies and charismatic stage manners as the reasons. The girls also revealed that they were envious of After School‘s tall height and model-like image when asked to pick the trait they were envious about of another idol group."
    Good taste.

BoA was fucking amazing on Sketchbook by the way. Her vocals on Only One (esp the adlibs) >>>>>>>>>>>>>

She really is serving her fans with this comeback. I've been loving all her promotional appearances. You can tell how much fun she's been having.

Yes, I immediately downloaded the video and made it into an MP3. It's absolutely gorgeous! She needs to release a ballad version.

Flashback is a great song to drink too. Imagine performing it?
