Yeah I thought the same, haha. I like him a lot but he's the one I find the most unconventionally pretty. I don't even know if I find him pretty/good looking at all. If GD was styled differently I think he'd actually be the most conventionally pretty out of the bunch.

Not at all. The hair and everything, for me he fits the normal-ish role. His styling is never out there like the rest of them. I could imagine him in any group no bother. I couldn't really imagine Taeyang in SHINee or GD in Super Junior for example.

I think he fits that sort of look.

I never found Daesung good looking at all. with the makeup on, and the nice body... he's okay... but... he's not even average i would say. But he does have good vocals therefore the vocalist of Big Bang but definitely not the visual in any way.

G-dragon can be very adorable and cute haha.

I get what Resi is saying about Daesung. I wouldn't describe him as "pretty," but it does seem true that he would fit into a group comparable to SHINee (who I would pinpoint as being the most representative of what springs to mind when I think of a k-pop boy group) whereas the others most definitely would not. On one hand he does seem out of place in Big Bang, but since they're kind of a motley crew he manages to fit in at the same time. He's not the most talented member all around, but I would say he is definitely the best singer. He also comes of as very confident and assured when he's performing, even if he doesn't necessarily have T.O.P-level charisma (although in his defense/my view, no one in k-pop does!!)

One song where Daesung really stands out is Top of the World from their Japanese album.

I think "Tell Me Goodbye" is an even better example. That is, until you get distracted by TOP's rap and his face, and then completely forget about the other four members.

I'd like my favorite acts like 4Minute and T-ara to experiment on mid-tempos as promotional singles. Something in the likes of Blush's Sweetly Leave Me or PCD's I Hate This Part. We always get that in-your-face, big production singles every time anyway.
