The level of talent is really fantastic. I have watched some of the auditions numerous times particulary Bo, Toni Warne, Joelle Moses, Cassius Henry and Lindsay Butler.

I can barely remember the contestants (aside from the two who did Ordinary People, and Kerry Ellis and guy from 5ive in previous weeks), but I'm sure we will get to know them as time presses on.

I personally find Jessie J the most likeable of all the judges, and found it funny when the girl did a song written by will.I.Am and didn't pick him as her mentor (?!)

You can tell a lot of the singers have previous experience though, the calibre is so much higher than on X Factor. Except they are probably only showing the decent singers as no judges repeatedly turning round would probably be quite boring.

I'm just rooting for Team Jessie J and Team Will.I.Am.... I like a few contestants in their teams a lot.

This is going to be painful to listen to tonight.

I'm quite excited really, the battle rounds are always quite fun and sometimes throw up some real vocal battles.

FUCKING HELL. Watching these two trying to out-diva each other is one of the worst things my ears have endured in my entire life.

    It's just not very British.

Edit: Tyler James is not pulling this off at all, and the one wearing the gilet is a flat-out cunt.

Really this performance is just highlighting what a terrible song Yeah (3x) is.

Well done, Ruth. That was some great dead dadding you did on Denise just there.

The battle rounds were shit. I actually thought the auditions were a breath of fresh air, granted there were big spinny chairs, but it felt natural and low-key. The whole idea of the battle rounds is ridiculous, putting them in a fake boxing ring was ridiculous. Reggie and Holly introducing them like commentators at a boxing match was ridiculous. IT WAS RIDICULOUS.

And I didn't agree with barely any of the decisions. I was just happy Vince got through. It seems the producers have given in to Cowell's fanfare. It was mentally draining to watch, I rolled my eyes so much it must've looked like I was having a serious fit.

I thought Bill wiped the floor with Max, yet Max went through. Ridiculous,

I only saw two battles, Jay vs Jaz, and Deneice vs Ruth. It was embarassing. Deniece and Jay were over-singing terribly. It was more like a competition of how many inappropriate melismas can you fit in one performance. Deniece seemed really arrogant and I'm glad she was totally overpowered by the more talented Ruth. (The Voice should be rising above sob-stories though). Jay knew he wasn't as good as Jaz and the way he was jerking about the stage and fitting 20 syllables into every word was too try hard.

I really hate the battle rounds. That's what put me off the US version. I don't need to hear what a tough decision it is after every performance.

Bill should have gone through over Max though.
    The Janines...

Yeah Bill was amazing. He just didn't jump around everywhere like Max did.

    Kylie Minogue
    I LOVE @iamwill #thevoiceuk
Queen Kylie has spoken! Will has really come across so well on the show & I think he chose the right people during the battle rounds.

Will has been my favourite judge. Danny has started to get on my nerves, his whole jump out of his seat and swing his arms is getting on my wick. It just looks so forced and contrived. I want Jessie to speak up a bit and show her humour.

Deneice was robbed!! Ruth is awful all she does is shout that is not singing what a load of crap!!! And I'm sorry but I thought The Voice was trying to be better than the X Factor so what's with the stupid sob story come on!!

    I hear ya.

Not that i particually warmed to Deneice- she seemed up herself, but Ruth just caterwalled through that. It sounded like a cat being strangled. And she looked fucking awful

The best part was when Ruth fell to her knees cackling, basking in the success of her evil plan to break down in rehearsals. Well played, love. Well played.

    Will.i.am is amazing.

Joelle with the same weave style as Treyc Cohen on X Factor lives.

How did Max get through over Bill? They looked like they were about to snog each other when they were battling.

Sam really annoys me with his overuse of the word fabulous, he is anything but.

It's been a real mixed bag. Some great performances but some downright shocking ones. Let's see how the live shows go. No hiding behind careful editing there.
