Not too much on Gotye now, that song is going to be a classic and rightfully so. And "A Team" is a great song.
There is only one Queen of Pop, and she does not share power!

And I just realised there's a third Gary Barlow monstrosity in the #20s. What kind of disgusting many-headed medusa?
    It's #14 now.

No wonder Syco passed her onto another label to deal with this campaign, they obviously couldn't be bothered with the hassle of trying to organise an album campaign based on such shitty material.
What I don't understand is after the success of Overcome Alexandra was clearly a pop star with huge appeal, so why not hook her up with the same kind of producer? How do you go from RedOne, Jim Jonsin & Rico Love, etc to the parade of no names on Heartbreak on Hold? It's her A&R team's fault.

Now below Mama Do The Hump, a song released about 70 years ago.
Yeah because Lady Gaga is the only pop star of this generation to have an iconic anthematic song. California Gurls says hi. *Eye roll*

Wasn't sure where to post this. Strangely, the album thread has been closed.

Alex just confirmed during her Ask Alex session on twitter that she is currently working on a US album and she is working with Rico Love on it. Plans are to be announced towards the end of the year. I hope things can work out for her, although I'm not sure where she would get the funding/backing when her own label doesn't give a crap about her.

Also she just mentioned that we'll hear Show Off with Swizz Beats as it will soon be "her song." Interesting.

Hopefully America can appreciate her! I would have loved for Let It Go to have been huge here.
"Ben, I love to hear you say that you love me, with words so sweet. And I love the way with just one whisper, you tell me everything"

I would LOVE for her to smash America....if Cher Lloyd can anyone can.

    (Enter Jinzo...)

This could be good for her. Like Cher Lloyd, her unjust UK stigma wouldn't matter there, and if she gets the right song then she could potentially have a very good chance.

I was listening to this song in my car today it is actually really good!! I don't know why she has flopped so hard..!

  12. #612
To all you cynical lot out there from the HOH thread - who called me delusional etc for saying she's working on a US album/launch well erm guess what, she's confrimed she has. Suck it. Soooooo excited though omg Rico Love/AB = tunes!! Bring on 2013 year of the Bangers

Although Let It Go is a great song, she should've released Tonight. I'm glad she's not giving up though.

  14. #614
Yeah I always thought she should of released Tonight as well. She still should really..!

  15. #615
I would like Alex to be successful but she's going to fail hard in the US, isn't she?

  16. #616
Tonight is contracted to be released as a single, so that's going to happen. She's apparently still shopping for a feature.
