That's true. I like it, but it ought to have been a track, that's it. I think the 2nd single should've been Fire or Oh La La.

Let It Go is multiple times better than Elephant for me.
It's such a catchy, euphoric song, which Elephant was quite dull.
The reason it is under-performing is the the radio snub (and no high profile tv appearance) not the quality of the song.
I quite like Alex, but I can't help myself. I keep humming:
Let it flop, flop, flop, flop
Let it all flop
Let it flop, flop, flop, flop
Let it all flop

Here's a new DigitalSpy interview with Alex: http://www.digitalspy.co.uk/music/in...his-album.html
She's a lovely girl, I really like her. Felt a bit bad for her when the interviewer asked would she be doing bigger venues for her next tour, she quickly narrowly avoided the question and started ramblimg about taking risks...
Let's raise hell in the streets drink beer and get into trouble..heavy metal lovaa!
It's frustrating that the media isn't on her side, has something gone on behind the scenes do we think? I just don't get why she's seemingly being purposefully ignored.
Let It Go at #19 in the unmentionables today.
Well this will happen if you release a song with no chorus....
There ain't a reason you and Misha B alone, tonight yeah baby, tonight yeah baby...
Not to sound like a whiny teenager but this is just so unfair. "Pop injustice", "deserves to be #1 for weeks", etc. ... she's the complete pop star package and this is a great song and video, far better than "Elephant".
Although, yes, it is better than Elephant and deserved to chart higher than that 'unfortunate' song but, if that had got to #19 she probably wouldn't have even had this single released.
She's so going to be eating bugs in Australia this November isn't she?!

I don't have anything against her like a lot of people (not to mention the media) seem to, but I have to disagree on this one. It's not a bad song by any means and it probably deserves to go top ten, but it's nowhere near as good as it should be when you consider the position she's in. Her people must know she's on dodgy ground at the moment - they should be going all out to make this era a success, not giving her mediocre dance music and zero promotion. I really hate to see her flopping as I do agree that she's great popstar material (although her personality does her no favours), but with a track like this it's not that much of a surprise. Fingers crossed the album will fare better.

Im a bit shocked that she's flopping so hard! And the album is so close....
That article hit the nail on the head and I particularly agree with this quote, "Whatever the reason, the hitmaker has not had the broadcaster support she needs or deserves with this album campaign, and we just hope her sales figures don’t suffer so much that RCA are forced to reconsider her recording contract."
As much as I love this song and think it stands out from most of the dross in the charts, there are clearly better songs on the album. If she was going to release another dance tune, it should have been one that demonstrated what a great singer she is. Every time I listen to the sample of "Fire", it's clear no other artist could sing that song like Alexandra.
2013 - Year Of The Beyonce.
I have to say tht for me, this is the biggest pop injustice of the year so far. For Tulisa, with a similar dance pop sound to fly into number one, then for this to be so overlooked, is just criminal.
And before anyone states I'm having a pop at Tulisa, I'm not, it just seems a comparable song in genre.

Tulisa's track is more ...powerful? It'd be a hit no matter who was singing it, Let It Go is more of a quiet storm kinda track.
Also Tulisa had a better video and a lot of wanted / unwanted buzz.
Down to 23 in the chart update...
Leaving out hideous expressions like 'Kelendria' (who even is that?) would be a good start. - Someboy re: Kelly Rowland's birth name
We Found Love has a HUGE chorus!
I'd say the whole track is one big chorus.
I'd say it's one big verse with a good breakdown.
How doesn't Let It Go have a chorus?
I agree about Tulisa and Young though, how that dreck swanned it's way to number one shows that people are morons.
I just don't know what to think of the public right now. On the one hand Loreen is amazing and seemingly receiving the recognition she deserves and on the other hand we have this scenario and looking at the iTunes Top 5 I just don't know what's going on.
