You are not the only one.

I'm so freaking excited for this movie!
˝She is a sexy, bionic woman, and every damn one of you will deal as she shits on your faves.˝ BEST FICTION.

I keep forgetting the title. Wonder why the word Alien isn't in it...

Maybe to distance itself from the combined crappiness of Alien3, Ressurection and AVPs 1&2.

Yes, I'm looking forward to this too.

I'm fucking stoked for this. So fucking stoked you could stoke me and I wouldn't be able to stoke any more.
I'll just keep playing back these fragments of time. Everywhere I go, these moments will shine.

Charlize (even in a supporting role) + sci-fi + giant summer movie not revolving around a comic book = ticket bought.

    It does look really good.

I think this is my most anticipated movie this summer (yes, even more than the Dark Knight Rises). The Michael Fassbender solo trailer is so amazingly creepy!

Oh my tits I'm excited about this.

So am I. Saw the trailer at the cinema the other day and got goosebumps.
Replying with GIFs is like arguing with a tree - really boring.

Yep, it was the trailer that drove me here. Saw it when I went to the The Dictator today and my jaw was floor-bound from about a third of the way in. I find it interesting that they seem to have severed the Alien connection somewhat. It wasn't mentioned at all in the trailer!

I've read slightly confllicting things, but I think Ridley Scott has basically said it's not strictly an Alien prequel anymore. Supposedly the H R Giger designed aliens aren't in it or anything.

    Oh, here we go:

The film was originally intended as a direct prequel to the 1979 science fiction horror film Alien, set approximately 30 years before the events depicted in the film. Instead, a revised version of the new film will now explore a more standalone mythology based upon a race of giant beings discovered by the crew of the Nostromo in Alien.

I read an interview a few weeks ago where Ridley stated that there will be little Easter eggs thought out for alien fans and the last 10 minutes of the film will be prequel ish. But that will be it.

It's still a prequel. Ridley Scott is just trying to get people who are not familiar with the Alien series on board.

The ship you see in the Prometheus trailer with the "space jockey" in it is clearly the same one discovered by the Nostromo in Alien...

I was looking at the Wikipedia page and subsequently read the entire plot synopsis, even though after the first sentence I knew it was the full plot synopsis. Why would I do something so stupid? It looks rather ace indeed and I'm still super-excited. Though if you enjoy 'twists' and 'turns' when watching a film then it's probably for the best that no one follows suit...

Is this really out in like 3 days? Oh my.
I'm about to drown in the ocean.

    I AM MILDLY EXCITED.
