I agree in terms of liking the new album right away as opposed to her debut album. I was excited about her debut album because I loved 'Stone Cold Sober'. However, it just never clicked with me for some reason. I've been listening to 'Fall To Grace' all weekend and love it. I hope it does really well for her. Fingers crossed it will with 'Picking Up The Pieces' entering the Singles chart at No. 7.

She's so incredible live! I really hope I can catch her when she next tours.

Just making my way through Fall To Grace and I'm loving it so far. Her voice has matured so much and the productions are amazing.

Now that I don't hate her anymore, I tried getting into the whole album but the only songs I can bear are "Just Be" and "Blood, Sweat and Tears" which are both amazing.

I can already imagine an epic video for "Blood, Sweat and Tears". She should really consider becoming a full-on disco diva for the next album. I think it could propel her to international stardom.

I absolutely love this album. The only song I'm not feeling is Let Me Down Easy but it's so short that it's not the end of the world. Yeah it could do with maybe one more uptempo but there are a few songs with a really nice pace like 30 Minute Love Affair, Blood Sweat & Tears, Agony and Freedom.

Just Be and Streets Of Glory are stunning. It's a really great body of work on the whole and I hope people give it a chance.

I brought the album and I am really happy with it so far. Even though Do you want the truth is more quirky and crazier, I'm glad Paloma has released more serious, emotional songs so each album has a good different mix. 30 Minute Love affair is my fav with the electro beats which sound amazing next to Paloma's souful voice. I like Just be aswell, that one has grown on me alot.

I really want 30 minute love affair as a single but why do I get the feeling it wont be?

Still struggling with this album. The melodies still seem incredibly weak and banal, especially compared to the cracking tunes on her debut.

I notice Q magazine pretty much said the same(not that it means anything really).

Scratch everything I've said. This album has grown on me and it is amazing.

I am so in love with 30 minute love affair, it's incredible, the electro beat

Couldn't find a decent quality leak anywhere, but hey, it's only £4.99 to download on Amazon.

This is so much better than her debut for me, she's matured really well. And it certainly isn't full of ballads, as someone said there's a few songs that have decent tempos.

Blood, Sweat & Tears for the next single please. Or Agony.

Well in my opinion they are all ballads or what I would call a ballad. Does slow and dreary sound better? I'm just sad at the lack of any Upside Downs, she knows its a fan favourite.

I don't mind it being full of ballads anyway. I'd prefer if they were good ballads however.

I love the synthy, music box-y songs (30 Min. and Agony)!

I'VE JUST REALIZED THAT I'VE BEEN LISTENING TO A COPY OF THE ALBUM WHICH REPLACED THE SONGS WITH THEIR ACOUSTIC VERSIONS.
Well. I'm excited to hear how it actually sounds now...

    Edit: OH MY GOD

This is outselling the Scissor Sisters and going to #1. All that hard work has finally paid off for Paloma!
Annie, if you're reading this...please know that I want your EP right now!

Album sales are disastrous at the moment so even a #1 might not necessarily be high. I'm still happy for her though and hopefully the sales are decent.

Little Boots should release her new album next week. It really is the best time, isn't it?

CHRIST ALMIGHTY this album is good.
Born to run, get ahead of the rest.

    Agony is perfect.

Agony almost has Video Games vibes to me... well, the first bit at least.

  23. #223
Yeah, I read a review (I think it was the BBC one) that said the exact same thing, Video Games at first and then the chorus transforms into Mr Brightside.

Having my first proper listen to the album, and it really is very good. 30 Minute Love Affair is brilliant.

"Picking Up The Pieces", "30 Minute Love Affair", "Just Be", "Blood Sweat & Tears" and "Agony" are all amazing. Not too keen on the rest yet. Is her debut album any good? They used to play "New York" quite a lot on Belgian radio a few years ago but I didn't really like that at the time so I never bothered checking out her debut.

This album is literally all I've been listening to. 30 Minute Love Affair, Black And Blue (car belting song), When You're Gone, Agony, Let Your Love Walk In, Freedom = 5/5.

Why do they have an acoustic version of Just Be? The regular version is acoustic already...
