Another year, another Popjustice Melodifestivalen vote!

VOTING CLOSED, RESULTS ONLINE!

Because I'm going to Sweden for the MF final, voting will only be open for a couple of days, so I'm posting this now so you can start thinking about what you'll send in!



As in previous editions of Popjustice: 12 Points, voting is done via PM to me.

Voting opens Saturday March 3th after Andra Chansen.
Voting closes Tuesday March 6th at 4 PM UK time.

1. THE FINAL VOTE

Eligible: All acts in the Melodifestivalen 2012 final.

As in Eurovision each member awards 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7 8, 10 and 12 points.

2. THE POPJUSTICE VOTE

Eligible: All 32 Melodifestivalen 2012 acts.

As in Eurovision each member awards 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7 8, 10 and 12 points.

3. THE POPJUSTICE: 12 POINTS AWARDS

Last year this went kind of OK despite there not being that many of us, so we're giving this one another shot!

Each member gets to pick one act for each category, acts can obviously be voted for in multiple categories.

Eligible: All 32 Melodifestivalen 2012 acts.

2. Best choreography
3. Best dressed
4. Best hair
5. Act that didn't get to Globen, but should have
6. 2012 Act you hope enters again in 2013

7. Worst vocal performance
8. Worst choreography
9. Wost dressed
10. Least deserving finalist
11. 2012 act you hope never comes near Melodifestivalen ever again

12. Best non-competing act (opening numbers and interval acts)
13. Act that has never competed in Melodifestivalen, but that you hope enters in 2013
14. Act that has competed in previous Melodifestivalen, but not this year, that you hope enters again 2013

I'm having the hardest time ever preparing my votes for this. I've just been so focused on Loreen (whose song is miiiiiiiiiiles ahead of everything else) that sorting out the rest of the tracks is proving to be really difficult.

Amazing. The winner of both polls was "duh" from the moment it was performed way back in Heat 1, but it was fun seeing how everything else would play out.

Been trying to figure out how Molly beat Danny in the PJ vote but not in the Final vote. Interesting that, when you throw it open to include all 32 songs, the people who like Molly's song seem to still back it, but Danny's support fades a bit when you don't have to vote for him. Thought I'd just mention this in case anyone else wonders the same thing - nobody's been inconsistent.

That is because this year's Globen is a bit shit - don't know what on earth possesses Sweden in Andra Chansen to pick any old crap SVT throw at them.

THANKS AGAIN CHARLEY! The winner was a no brainer, but still was an interesting insight of what people do like to hear. Can't wait to see our Loreen wipe the floor clean with those fuckers on Saturday!
