That karaoke just sounds awful... I actually like the Turn Myself In preview.
I absolutely can't wait for 'Turn Myself In'. I loved the live version and the official has more 'oomph', judging from the preview!
Peter isn't the only person working on the main site anymore. Considering their label have a habit of making things up as they go, I doubt a second single has been formally lined up yet. There's probably a song that's being considered as the second single but since this one isn't out yet, there's no need to make a firm decision.
Not been keeping up with 'The Saturdays' but heard this song on the radio and it's really good. So what is this single? First single of their next album? Greatest Hits single? Random single for no reason?
We don't really know yet. They have mentioned working on a new album but we're not ruling out a re-release, mini album or a Greatest Hits.
Does anyone else prefer the version of "30 Days" from the lyrics video, with the extra production/"flies flying into a light" sound effects?! I was a bit gutted when I realised that wasn't actually a part of the song.

Oh my god. That studio version of Turn Myself In is so bad. What the hell is that chorus ? Really ? It sounds awful.
I'm actually glad it's bad. People were so annoying when they were requesting that song on the album. See, it was totally not worth it.
In all fairness it sounded great live and none of us wishing it was on the album could possibly have known the proper version was going to sound so bad, so we can't be blamed for wanting to hear it properly. I for one am seriously disappointed in it despite loving the live version, and I wouldn't have cared that it wasn't on the album if I'd heard this version.
As for it being annoying, everybody was dying for studio versions of One Shot and Wordshaker (and later Higher) when we first heard them performed live back in the day so it's nothing new. The only difference is that those tracks actually lived up to the live performance versions.

I thought I had it but I tumbled...
Xenomania or nothing.
Airplay seems to be slightly increasing. Which isn't much, but at least now you can say the song is out there. Summing that to the good video airplay, the big media attention they're enjoying these days and the promo they've got lined-up it seems like this could be a nice top 10 for them.
I think their main focus now is to get the US deal, and if this release affects it in any way, I think they will be fine with that. In this case a good peak is more important to them rather than low-but-stable sales.

So they are really aiming for an US album? What about 30 days then? Is it part of some new release (album/greatest hits)?
FULL FLATLINE HERE!!!
After a few weeks this still sounds as subpar as it did the first time I heard it. It's just so boring and not catchy/uplifting at all. And I loved/bought all their previous singles. I don't think the general public will buy into it either, they will have to purely rely on their hardcore fan base. I wouldn't be surprised if this even misses the Top 20.
Pretty much. I bet we won't know more details about the next album/EP release for a few months. Its so we dont forget they exist.
On another note, the video is just about to get 1 million views.
I'd really like more them to focus on the UK where they have their fanbase and all. Trying in USA when they have problems with selling albums here seems a bit weird. Good luck to them though.
FULL FLATLINE HERE!!!
It's taken them around 3 weeks to get a million views then... hmm. Just proves there's no hype around this single and the girls anymore. Plus the likes/dislikes ratio is way down for a video almost on a million views - some videos with less views than 30 Days have more likes etc. I know it's nothing but still. This isn't gonna crack the top 10 I don't think - little interest, little airplay, no buzz... I'm thinking a high/mid top 20 position again like MHTO.
I actually love the song when it's on - I had a proper rave by myself when it came on a music channel last week - but I don't really have a desire to listen to it otherwise. It's a pleasant song but they needed something much stronger than this after the On Your Radar mess.
I think if this had been the third single over 'My Heart Takes Over' it would have been better received. It feels more in line with 'Notorious' and 'All Fired Up' than 'Heart' does, although I still think they should have launched the album after the second single.
Meet your new stepmom, kid.
This song is pretty crap, let's just be honest. It's dead in the water. I've played it but a few times because there's no excitment or desire to hear it again. I don't know what the point of it is? They never seem to learn or gather any pace...
Basically, All Fired Up was as good as it was getting and the album should've arrived off the back of that single. On Your Radar's relative failure must partly be blamed on Heart Takes Over and it's dreariness. A terrible launch single for a new album... and now we have 30 Days, a song which everyone agrees is not to the standard a.) it needs to be, and b.) of at least 4 other tracks already on the album.
Now they are off to the USA for this TV show, and we're left wondering what's going on here, because whatever the point of 30 Days is, it's not strong enough for a re-release or a new album, so... what the hell are they doing? I don't even think they've been told themselves. Dear me.

For a second there I thought this was going to be their About You Now. Guess not?
