The forum is back online! Hurrah!

    Madonna Hyde Park Weather Watch:

No rain so far today. Has been cloudy for most of the day. Should remain warm for the rest of the evening.

Leaving work at 5.30 for the Golden Circle!

Ugh so sorry, I know this is probably annoying but could someone explain to me the difference between Golden Circle, General Admission & the triangle thing possibly using this photo of the San Siro show in Milan as a guide?? http://static.blogo.it/soundsblog/ma...san-siro/0.jpg

I'm seeing her in The Aviva Stadium in Dublin next week but only have a GA ticket. But am considering getting a Golden Circle one instead but I've heard people say they have tickets for the triangle which would be even better...but I'm confused over what to do!

    On that picture :

The Triangle is the triangle you say which is inside the stage.
Golden Circle is right before the stage (Where the lights color the people purple)
Behind that - kind of far away - is General Admission.

You can't buy tickets for the Triangle, you can only win them through Icon or on the day itself if you queue early.

    STILL BUZZING from this.
You should take the free tickets promo and go!

Thanks so much Truman. Any idea how early? Is that for the iPad contest thing? I would really rather be closer than where the GA people get to stand.

After 3/4 I think they come round with the iPad.

You have to have GA or GC to be able to participate.

Cool, thanks again Truman. Very helpful.

I'll be looking like a crazed fanatic with all my dated Maripol-esque garb, 'Who's That Girl Tour' tee & crucifixes, singing 'Super Pop' at the top of my lungs so maybe they'll take pity on me.

    LIVE:

Currently standing in the Golden Circle at Hyde Park. Have just got into the circle and am reasonably close to the triangle. The circle isn't as big as I feared it might be. There's plenty of space at the moment.

Edit: LMFAO have just appeared on stage imploring everyone to put their hands up. You can't have everything!

really? In Paris the Golden Circle was huge and packed.
Like from the barrier to the last person - 50 people or more?

I am useless as estimates but it's about half full and from where I'm standing it's about 20+ deep to the triangle.

  12. #1812
Oh the same then, it was packed once it got dark.
    ENJOY!

The opener and closer are the two highlights - good choice there.

She's earned $49 million from the first eleven performances of MDNA!
Annie, if you're reading this...please know that I want your EP right now!

Wow. Madonna's just finished. So much more to say but for now: Amazing.

Highlights: Vogue, Like A Virgin, Like A Prayer, Masterpiece, Candy Shop, Give Me All Your Lovin, Express Yourself.... I could go on.

Lowlight: Hung Up. What in God's name was that all about?

It's like she gets it as wrong as possible to balance out the Confessions Tour version being so utterly fucking life-altering.

Is it just the autotuned mess of it, or the endless dragging her around the zipline, or both?

    First time I've seen her.

My God, the woman has the energy of a woman half her age. I was knackered watching her. My only complaint was too few classic tracks- and I didn't like what she did with Like A Virgin, but fuck, the woman is inspirational.

Kylie was in attendance, apparently in the "kid zone" to see better. I love it!

I'm so happy for all of you that saw her. October is a million years from now . . .
In the name of the Mother, the Daughter, and the Holy Spearit, AMEN.

I positively loathed that version of Like A Virgin. Even the Girlie Show version had more oomph. Also gutted she didn't do Love Spent but chuffed Open Your Heart is back. Lots more to say but too tired now. Oh and thank feck the rain was only a light trickle.

Kylie, Guy, George Michael, Kate Moss, Gwyneth, Stella, Naomi, Valentino, Ingrid Casares were all there..
