I think it could have been better, but I'm a sucker for these kinds of things. It's nice.

  2. #2302
I liked it too and what do you expect, it's Pepsi not YSL?

    I want the remix bad!

Pepsi have done loads of amazing adverts before...

  4. #2304
There was one with a singer called Madonna too, around March 1989, I think?

  5. #2305
Don't be silly, JLo and Beyonce wouldn't drink regular Pepsi.

    Empty calories and all that.
I'm about to drown in the ocean.

Mary J. Blige doesn't eat Burger King chicken wraps either but these women have bills to pay, dammit!

So that's a new mix of Moment FOR LIFE THEN?

  8. #2308
I was expecting Nicki to feature a little bit more than she does...but whatever, get that promo!

Absolutely nothing will ever top The Joy of Pepsi ever. EVER.
Yeah because Lady Gaga is the only pop star of this generation to have an iconic anthematic song. California Gurls says hi. *Eye roll*

Mary J's Crispy Chicken >>> your faves

Of course, if Mariah's "KFC ad" was actually real, it would topple everything.

Pound The Alarm, Whip It and Turn Me On live!

Here's the setlist from another appearance:

    Roman Holiday
    Did It On Em
    I Am Your Leader
    Beez In The Trap
    Stupid Hoe
    Dance (A$$)
    Right By My Side
    Champion
    Moment For Life
    Starships
    Pound The Alarm
    Whip It
    Where Them Girls At
    Fire Burns
    Save Me
    Turn Me On
    Super Bass

I'm crying at the lack of Va Va Voom or Come On A Cone or Monster verse, but yeah...it'll do! I get to see her next month, oowweeee. And the cheapest ticket for it is still shy of £120 on eBay with P+P, haha. A standing ticket for Gaga in Manchester is fetching at around the same price.

Oh my god the first five tracks are gold!

I'm glad she's performing Stupide Hoe.

I love that it starts all Nicki from the Hood and then becomes like a scene from a sweaty gay club straight after Moment 4 Life.

And I also love that she has the holy RedOne trinity all together, one after the other.

I love Nicki, but I feel like shes digging herself a hole with all this commercial music. Not because of the quality or anything, but her ability to perform these songs live. Posing and shaking her ass while the chorus plays then delivering the verses with half the quality of the track itself is quite embarrasing. I feel like her name and brand are bigger than the credible artist she may think she is. Each to their own though I suppose. I really hope she doesn't spend the rest of her career 'pleasing' all he fans instead of coming hard with a Nicki Minaj musical statement that everyone knows shes capable of.
    I swear I wanna change.

But that's how the clubz here are though...you walk in all hard and aggressive then slowly but surely let your inner queen take control.

So in all, a perfect fucking evening. I must see her at some point.

I wanted her to do a pretty video for this, so I'm happy. Her vocals sound off in this song though. I don't really Chris' fashion in this video either.

I play this 100 times a day. The new Dilemma.

  20. #2320
Love it. I much prefer this Nicki. She looks sexy without looking like a streetwalker shaking her ass around.

Really pretty video. She'd be so much better if she had this sort of angle with her music.

One of my favourites off the album, I just adore the instrumental.

Cute video, but that blonde weave has got to go.

Didn't Nicki say Whip It was being released before Pound The Alarm?

  24. #2324
    Not Whip It.

    NOT WHIP IT..

    NOT WHIP IT?

    *flips table*

Every time I think she might turn it around, no. Oh no, it gets worse and worse. It hasn't even gone Gold in the US has it? She's released what, like 7 singles now? On tour and everything?

I honestly think she thinks more singles = more success but no, someone REALLY needs to teach her less is more.

  25. #2325
It wouldn't be so bad if she just went for 2-track single releases, so a pop single and an urban single so speak. But considering we've now had Starships, Beez In the Trap, Right By My Side and Stupid Hoe, and soon we'll have Pound The Alarm, Whip It and Champion; she's not really giving any of the tracks time to find their feet and be a hit. Because all of them are worthy of being hits.

She'll run out of stuff to release by September.
I'm about to drown in the ocean.
