I can\'t get over how much I love this album. I\'ve listened to nothing else for the past 2 weeks and can see myself still loving it for years to come. I played around with the tracklisting, added Roman In Moscow after Come On A Cone and removed a couple of duds and it\'s a really strong 16 track album (I cheekily added Super Bass between Gun Shot and Va Va Voom where it sounds amazing).
I don\'t get why all the critics keep mentioning her \"weak\" singing voice, I think she sounds great and certainly no worse than a lot of others out there. On Fire Burns she invests real emotion into it and on the club bangers I think her mix of rapping and singing makes the songs distinctly \"Nicki\". The whole run of dance tracks from Starships to Beautiful Sinner is brilliant with Beautiful Sinner being my favourite and I love the pop songs too; Fire Burns, Gun Shot, Young Forever and Va Va Voom are awesome. Even though I\'m not a rap fan I love Roman Holiday and Come On A Cone for being so demented. If this had been a straight up rap album as a lot of her fans seem to want I doubt it would be doing so well. It was Super Bass and Starships that brought her to my attention and the pop mainstream and I think Nicki wants to be more than just boxed in as a rapper and clearly wants to do pop and get mainstream success. The great thing with this album is that there are so many songs that all her fans are catered for and can come up with their own ideal tracklisting. I\'m really glad I bought it despite initially having reservations about it being too rap for me as it has turned out to be my favourite album for years. She\'s the most exciting popstar out there and I can\'t wait to see where she goes from here. World domination hopefully!
Well, my album version of "Stupid Hoe" seems to be pitched/sped up from the single version. I thought it was just my imagination, but then I listened to both versions side by side and they definitely sound different.
The funny thing is this is Britney's second video with a horse, the first being Me Against The Music
I don't think I could handle 'Stupid Hoe' being any more speedy than it already is. That sounds nightmarish.
Will you still love me when I'm no longer young and beautiful?
I think I've got all the Nicki hate off my chest for today. I may just not be able to watch her performances or interviews, if I want to remain liking her. Anyway...

"Spit ya fluidest, Bitch..."
I wish artists like her didn't bother recording songs that they can't possibly sing live. It's annoying because she's not a terrible singer at all.
She is an awful performer. How much were tickets for the tour again?
The sad thing is that she's really comfortable and entertaining on-stage when she's performing rap songs.

Yes, it's not a perfect performance, but there's charisma and she really seems to be herself.
She needs to get over this "I'm a popstar" phase.
"Spit ya fluidest, Bitch..."
She's an awful performer when it comes to 'Starships' anyway. But then again when you can't dance and you refuse to sing the already sparse singing bits, theres not an awful lot you can do.
I love the bit where they skip to the crowd and there's one guy in particular who keeps putting his hands in front of his face. I don't know whether thats embarrassment or heavy shade. Probably both.
I'm about to drown in the ocean.
This tweet pleases me.♥ AZEALIA BANKS ♥ @AZEALIABANKS
The beats on Roman Reloaded r so hot!!! I might hav to step my shit up!!!!!
"Spit ya fluidest, Bitch..."
The fuck was that I just watched.
I don't get how this album works without Va Va Voom or Masquerade (flawless closing number)
Whip It is my ultimate favorite, I can't stop listening to it.
Such brilliance.
"I do not care about critics, too, I care for my ears basically." - vas
I understand she can sing, but live? to a pop/dance song? Nope.
She needs to start using features for songs like this.
Also when miming? Atleast make it look like you're trying to mime.
Azealia Banks has also tweeted about how amazing she thinks Whip It is.
I'm really glad that this album is being heavily praised by my other favourite female rapper. Usually they're all dragging each other through the mud, so it makes a nice change for her to praise the beats and individual songs. Also, it makes me feel less crazy and judged for liking it so much.
Whip It really is quite amazing. The instrumental is grinding synth-pop at it's best, the rapping in the verses has a great flow and pace, and the lyrics are entertaining ("Jump in this ride. It's real nice and slippery inside"). The bridge and chorus are really cheesy, but so is a lot of pop. It's a really great dance-pop song, and even though it skirts the same sort of territory as many acts I don't really care for (Taio Criz, Flo Rida, etc.) I think it excels where they often fail. It doesn't take itself too seriously.
"Spit ya fluidest, Bitch..."
Whip It is actually about one of about three songs on the album that I like.
Azealia and I - twins.
Balance dad mysterious.
Azealia is smart, she starts little feuds with irrelevants(Krayshawn(sp??) and Iggy) to drum up controversy and interest and because she can. Everyone is going to be picking a favorite from the new crop of female rappers so she's basically in direct competition with them. She's not(yet) in competition with Nicki, she gives Nicki subtle compliments b/c she plans on wooing the jaded but still loyal members of her fanbase away by delivering the quality urban rap that Nicki loyalists have wanted in album form since 2009(notice how she compliments the beats but not the raps), that way Nicki fans won't twice about buying Azealia's album.
In brief: She's being nice to Nicki because their target audiences overlap.
Feel free to lynch me, but I think I quite appreciate Right By My Side.
Yeah because Lady Gaga is the only pop star of this generation to have an iconic anthematic song. California Gurls says hi. *Eye roll*

Let me clarify: I really do like the track. The only downside is that horrible Brown person. Even he isn't enough to destroy it, though.
Will you still love me when I'm no longer young and beautiful?
I love 'Right By My Side'. I love when it kicks in.
Even Chris Brown can't ruin it for me.
