Ive never been this excited for a DVD release before. Defo getting it on Blu-Ray.

Got the whole 'Uncut/Unreleased/Here's everything we could possibly throw at you until we re-release everything when the final film comes out' version on Blu-Ray, and four things struck me:
1) It looks even prettier than I remembered, bar the occasional piece of dodgy CGI.
2) I don't think there will ever be a time when Rue's death won't result in me gulping through my tears.
3) The extra few seconds of visuals that have taken the film from a 12A to a 15 for the Home Media release are pretty brutal, and make the whole 'opening massacre' scene all-the-more shocking. There isn't a lot of additional footage, but what they have added is extremely powerful. Mainly bloody effects (in short, you see knives going in and out).
4) The whole thing is even more thrilling than I remembered.
Currently making my way through the extra features. Lots of good stuff here; this isn't a slapdash DVD release.
Go get it!
