Album out on August 17 according to her Facebook. It's gonna be called "Fear & Freedom".
Its yo yoing round the charts- back up to 19 now. She might not get big peaks but at least the songs are hanging around

Not sure yet, but I'm so so excited! I know this album is going to be incredible. She's got a 'tour' coming in September which I'm going to!
She just announced that 'Do It Like That' had gone platinum. She's a bit of a slow burner with this era. 'Raining Diamonds' did the same thing. I can't wait for the album. She's the most exciting thing in Australian pop at the moment...
I don't want to be tough and I don't want to be proud. I don't need to be fixed and I certainly don't need to be found. I'm not lost.
She is right now in the UK having meetings with EMI.
I can't wait to finally hear the studio version of Crazy. It's immense live.

A bit generic but I think she can pull it off. I thought she'd put a little more umph into it when singing the word Crazy.
Anyway good for her - Do It Like That is still in the Top 50. I think her days of top 10 smashes are over but she seems to be getting some longeivty into her singles (not sure this was the case before).
To be honest I can't see the album doing much though.
I think Ricki can belt, but these slightly-above average club bangers are something just about any electro tart could manage. I still gravitate towards Raining Diamonds the most of her new material as even though it's somewhat standard and repetitive, there's some emotion behind it and she wails that chorus like she means it.
Maybe I'll like one of the inevitable remixes of "Crazy" more, just as I prefer the Fred Falke remix of "Do It Like That" to the single version.
She could be big in the UK.

She mentions "the floor" 3 times in the first 30 seconds. A bad way to kick things off. I think it's pretty rubbish, with some terrible lyrics and an all over the place chorus.
It's a massive shame, as even though Do It Like That was basically a Beyonce tribute, it was still a brilliant song. Raining Diamonds was great too.

Raining Diamonds and Do It Like That were incredible pop songs, but Go Crazy is dreadful.

I'm listening to the album clips on itunes. Oh dear its all sounding the same (bar Do It Like That). There is also a track called On The Floor and now I'm listening to a song called World dissappears which contains the line "when we hit the floor". Ages ago she said 2 tracks from the ditched Hear No See No Speak No album would be on this but I can't see where. Only 10 tracks on the album (plus a bonus track which sounds a little Kelly Clarkson meets Gabriella On A Mission Cilmi) and for some reason just one version of Crazy is available (like with Raining Diamonds) rather than Do It Like That which had a 3 track EP released
Oh and Hear No See No Speak No is still underated - I could imagine Girls Aloud recording it.

Saying that I'm not sure if its that big a thing (or maybe just a sign of the ARIA charts) that both singles have gone platinum. Only 21 tracks in the top 50 dont have Platinum accreditation and 8 of these are Gold accredited...

I like the fact that she explicity mentions that the Hear No See No Speak No tracks will see the light of day (although maybe as a re-released deluxe Fear and Freedom album)
