I tend to stand by the theory that the irony lies in writing a song called "Ironic" whose individual lyrics are terrible examples of irony. She clearly sings the song with some ambiguity - "And isn't it ironic, don't you think?" instead of some iteration of "I think this is ironic". And when she does say "and yeah I really do think" in the bridge it's blatantly sarcastic.
