I love how we'd been singing Malta's '91 entry for nearly 20 years having only heard it once at the original competish. When we eventually discovered it again on You Tube turns out that A) We'd made up our own tune B) It's shit.

Whilst Nicole is an obvious choice how can you have missed out these 2 classics.....

Johnny Logan - What's Another Year (So Hot!!!)

Belle and the Devotions - Love Games

    How very dare you!!!

Did you see The Devotions 'Supremes' style dance routine and green plastic outfits??? What's not to like,

Apparently they are miming to the real backing singers who are hiding behind a screen because one of them was pregnant.

Such a missed opportunity. Would have been legendary and is actually a far better song than any we've entered in over a decade.

Half-decent songs since 1997: 2002, 2009, 2011. These have also been our best results since 1997 (save for 1998).

    Entries that "Not Just Anybody" is better than since 1997: 1998, 1999, 2000, 2001, 2003, 2004, 2006, 2007, 2008, 2010, 2012.

    For me it's

    1. Playing With Fire - Paula Seling & Ovi (greatest middle 8 ever!)
    2. Drip Drop - Safura (amazing ballad, great vocal)
    3. Taken By A Stranger - Lena (almost too good for Eurovision)

It was a close call between Taken and Euphoria. Popular (Eric Saade) and Is It True (Yohanna), In A Moment Like This (Chanée & N'Evergreen) and are also amazing. Also, Girls Aloud would kill to have something like Serebro's Song #1 in their discography.

In terms of performances, Elena Paparizou's is exactly how you do it.

I still can't believe the British public picked Andy Abraham over this:

“I heard it. I immediately was so sick by it and upset that I turned over and went back to sleep.”

It's an impossible task. Today it is:

    1. Anabel Conde: Veuelve Conmigo, Spain 1995
    2. Stella: Si tu aimes ma musique, Belgium 1982
    3. Vicky Leandros: Après toi, Luxembourg 1972

Tomorrow it could be Tom Pilibi, France 1960, Every Way that I can, Turkey 2003 and Is it true, Iceland 2009.
