I pretty much love this album except I haven't grown to like Primadonna at all. Is that weird? That song doesn't do it for me. Other than that, the concept of the Electra Heart character(?) is executed impressively throughout the album.

Are people really that surprised? I never expected it to have great longevity.

Not at all. Considering how little it was promoted and how the critics complained about it's 'lack of authenticity', I think we should consider it debuting at number 1 and not at number 28 a huge accomplishment already.
