While she is a brilliant artist, I don't wish commercial success on her. After she was famous, she made Drastic Fantastic. It had some great songs on it, but it was obviously her worst album. The two albums she created out of the spotlight, Eye to the Telescope and Tiger Suit, are her masterpieces.

But yeah, Under the Weather is my rainy day jam. It's so great.

Morten Harket's new album is ridiculously good.

You don't really expect a 52-year old man to create such timeless and good pop today, but he's really succeeded.

'Every Night I Say A Prayer' reaffirms how shit the majority of Hands actually is.
    "Ardent Rihanna mud-slinger"

Only a few more scrobbles before Khia enters my Last FM Top 50!

I think I might just listen to this on repeat: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QMqWgSA6Yc8

"You swiped yo card 3 times last week! A bitch oughta change yo name to With Draw!"
Yeah because Lady Gaga is the only pop star of this generation to have an iconic anthematic song. California Gurls says hi. *Eye roll*

I would say (listening to) Hands reaffirms how average Every Night is.

Tulisa performing in flats. The gods of pop will smite her.
    Balance dad mysterious.

    And you'd be wrong.

  8. #9683
Every Night hasn't really had the chance to become as dear to me as most of Hands, obviously, but I think it'll get there. It feels like a lot more of a natural progression to me than what a lot of others have come out with recently.

I love pop video where they eat junk food.

Like in Little Nicki's "Intro Intro" or , or "Nights Like This". No idea why.

    'Remedy' shits on 'Every Night'.

But 'Every Night' is still better than a lot of a 'Hands'.
I'm about to drown in the ocean.

'Denial' is probably the Sugababes best video, before that odd 30-40 seconds when it turns into still images with their names.

Denial and Get Sexy are the best.

  13. #9688
"Denial" is one of their best songs in general, but it always gets lost in the horde of idiots tripping over each other to brand Amelle a bitch whore slut cow cunt.

I think people just do that anyway.

Don't you mean why is it so long?

I would prefer Make Me Sick or an extended version of Flashback over it, it's seriously the worst song on that album.

I adore that video, it's so beautiful. Makes me tear up, thinking of 3.0.

'20 Dollar' by MIA is yet another masterpiece from her.

I hope Mathangi goes back to Kala's sound.

    Nivea's 'Laundromat' might be genius.

I thought I was going to have to wait until Frank Ocean finally manages to release a proper album, but no, I have finally found a current male R&B/pop artist I like! All hail Miguel! (Yes, his album came out 18 months ago - this is current for me, ok?).

I DON'T WANT TO MAKE ANOTHER MISTAKE LIKE YOU!

Your Neighbours faves wish they could make 'Since U Been Gone' rip-offs that amazing.

    I fucking love that song!

(Worryingly, I also quite like the album, but I've given up questioning my taste in such things...)

I like some of that album, but he honestly has such a great voice! Sure Thing is amazing.

Why is Running Up That Hill in the iTunes top 50?

Obviously it's an amazing song, but it just seems a bit odd...

It was performed on 'The Voice'. The 200 people that still watch that show must have bought it *snark snark*

Now that I'm back home and have the music channels available to me, it would seem that Rita Ora is getting a serious push at the moment.

She herself is a bit sickly looking.and her voice is as bland as hell but the track itself is pretty hot, it would make a great Rihanna single.
