I should probably take this over to the unpopular opinions thread but I much prefer Jesse McCartney's version of Bleeding Love. Probably because Jesse's subdued vocals sound more genuine and it doesn't have Ryan Tedder's production.

Party people crazy party wow wow wow
Halo should've absolutely gone to Leona. I like Beyonce and all but Leona would've done an astounding job with it.
I'm glad Leona's flopped. She has talent but she need something drastic - ie, the world turning it's back on her - for her to wake up and DO somethin' interestingly.
I agree, 'Bleeding Love' is as pretty close to perfection as you can get.
I think 'Halo' would have kept her as an international artist, and would have probably tripled the sales for Echo.
Although, I still maintain to this day that Ryan Tedder is pretty damn shady for what he did to Kelly Clarkson - giving her an almost identical instrumental and then claiming the two songs sounded nothing alike.
I still love her Ryan Tedder diss-track, Wash Rinse Repeat:
Music from the past, from the present, well, just last week
We will change a note and get away with it

Leona needs to find the middle-ground between being seen as the librarian of pop and, well... umm... whatever the hell this was
She is without a doubt talented, and actually did quite well with Echo (Just not in comparison to her debut), but ever since she's been floundering about with faceless dance music and MOR rock covers, when really she was onto a winning formula for the most part beforehand... Echo just needed a couple more hits.
EDIT: Wash/Rinse/Repeat was amazing, I really wish she had released it. I like a good middle fingers up anthem.
I agree that Ryan said Already Gone was one of his best productions ever, but all he did was refine the Halo production and there we had Already Gone. I really like both songs, and I think Ryan is a phenomenal producer, but I can't blame Kelly for never wanting to work with him again.
Janet.
Wash, Rinse, Repeat is 100% amazing.
Hi my name is *fart noise*
And I'm here to run everything
Spreading like a cancer
I will die and take you all with me
And of course:
"I'll be playing God and you can be my *ALARM*"
I'd give anything to get a proper mastered version of Wash, Rinse, Repeat!
I'lll never get tired of All For You, it's such a great pop song. One of Janet's best!
"Ben, I love to hear you say that you love me, with words so sweet. And I love the way with just one whisper, you tell me everything"
All For You, Doesn't Really Matter, Runaway, Love Will Never Do and Together Again are five incredible singles and enough proof that Janet is an amazing artist.
I've recently come to realize how much I really like her.
If, Rhythm Nation, Got Til Its Gone, Miss You Much, That's The Way Love Goes, Rock Wit U...
Thanks Benevenstanciano.
Apparently the super cool electronic "Heart Skips a Beat" song I heard in a Special K commercial is a super cute twee Lenka song?!?! I like surprises like this.
So if you're lonely, you know I'm here waiting for you...
I didn't know until recently that it was produced by Guy Sigsworth! I just love his productions. (His input is much more evident in this song.)
All For You really is timeless brilliance. Could be released today and would still hit #1.
Yeah because Lady Gaga is the only pop star of this generation to have an iconic anthematic song. California Gurls says hi. *Eye roll*
I'm basking in this 'All For You' love. I adore it so much more than any Michael offering.

I like 'All For You' but 'Doesn't Really Matter' trumps it in my book.

You can put it anywhere.
Overexposed really isn't all that bad if trimmed down. There's some really good songs on it. I just have to lie and tell myself it's the debut of some unknown pop band rather than the makers of such modern day masterpieces such as She Will Be Loved and Makes Me Wonder.
Janet.
Instead of making new music she just sings salt into shapes. At least that's my impression.
I wonder how she discovered she could do that.
So if you're lonely, you know I'm here waiting for you...
My friends and I have had multiple dance parties to "All For You" in our rooms.
...
Thinking about it, Miss You Much & That's The Way Love Goes really should have been included in my list.
And... Go Deep, Nasty, & Everytime. And Black Cat.
Love You Like a Love Song followed by Brit's Can't Make You Love Me on shuffle, perfection.
Up is where we go from here.
Selena Gomez literally had no right making a song as amazing as 'Love You Like A Love Song. That middle eight...
