I liked Ros' death. It was so brutal and so completely unexpected, that it kind of worked.

At the moment, I feel the pace is kind of dragging (or at least, not as exhilarating as the first two seasons). I feel myself more drawn to the politics in Kings Landing than the various goings on in the North (namely Theon).

It took forever to get to Kings Landing this week.

When you've read the books it's really hard to care about some story lines as you know where they are going i.e Nowhere.
Check you lipstick before you come and talk to me.............. Let's go Zi Lin!!!

It's still so absolutely awesome, but I do prefer the drive of a central storyline ie. Ned investigates, two brothers vying for the throne. Given the source material though, obviously it's going to be hard to achieve that now.

I don't really envy the showrunners at this point for having to wade through so many storylines, perspectives, minor characters and trying to condense them all into a compelling TV series that can live up to the first two seasons.

I was shocked at Ros' death, I liked her. I've only just come to realize that she was so hated by fans, why is this? She was a harmless character.

She wasn't in the books, so people were pressed.

I'm not sure how many Theon torture scenes I can put up with... Ros' death actually made me gasp (I tend to do that a lot while watching this show!)

I'd forgotten how slow the first half of the third book is bar Daenarys' conquest, but the next episode should be brilliant and the one after that...

I usually Sky+ the episode on Monday and watch it on Friday evening (with a takeaway and followed by the latest Mad Men), someone at my client told me "the red head had died". "Not my lovely Rose Leslie - the wildling" I gasped, "No, the other one" they replied. I thought they meant Stannis' witch, so was kind of relieved it was Baelish's whore that saw the business end of Joffrey's crossbow.

Why did Joffrey kill the woman ? What did she do to him?

    Nothing. He's a sadist.

But I'm sure there's differences from the books? It's not like she was the one who lobbed Ned's head off.

    Oh, I didn't catch that.

Anyway...EURGH. Season almost over and still all this bullshit. I feel like I'm watching a promo reel, teasers, not an actual episode.

    "My gold."

    I just love her.

No Lady Olenna though! Sad. And I was sure the bear would kill Brienne! But I guess their storyline with Jaime is going somewhere, happy about that.

I was hoping Jaime was going to throw the guy overboard for the bear to ravage.

Did Theon really lose his dick? I'm wondering where these torture scenes are actually going.

Yes, he did. It was only implied in the books but considering G. R. R. Martin wrote this episode...
