I could do with a good romantic comedy.
Something like 27 Dresses/My Best Friend's Wedding that ticks all the emotional boxes. Something without Hugh Grant would be preferable too.
(Already saw Bridget Jones/Love Actually/50 First Dates/Wedding Singer/Muriel's Wedding/Serendipity/Just Like Heaven as well)

Any suggestions?
(possibly pretty recent ones, cause I think I might have seen all the obvious 'older' ones)

'Crazy, Stupid Love' and 'Silver Linings Playbook' (the latter is a bit darker though) may be good places to start for more modern rom-coms. '(500) Days of Summer' perhaps too, but that's not especially funny, per se. 'Friends With Benefits' is the better version of 'No Strings Attached', if you fancy either of them.

I was also surprised at how much I enjoyed 'The Proposal'. It has some really funny moments in it, so if you haven't seen that, I'd fully recommend you give that a watch!

Yes I love 'The Proposal', it's nothing earth shattering but it's a nice story with some funny moments. I was surprised by how great the chemistry was between Sandra Bullock and my husband.
