Yes I like 'Problematic' Its very early-80s. The lyrics are all about leaving school at 16 but not being able to find a job. Which was very relevant in 1983. It doesn't really sound much like the rest of 'Luxury of Life' . The nearest song to it IMHO is 'Hide and seek'.

I am wondering if dad/ex-manager Buster Pearson is being a pain and delaying these releases. He is known as being very hard to work with. He probably ownes the rights to 'Problematic'. Sadly.

Anyone seen www.fivestarofficial.com in the awards section at the end there is the most hilariously deluded summary of him, clearly written by the "legendary" Buster himself!

I WANT a tracklisting and I want it NOW.

Also, what is happening with the reissue of Pepsi & Shirlie "All Right Now"?

Cherrypop have said via Facebook that release date for 'Luxury of Life' is sometime in November. Tracklisting still being worked on.

Am hoping, if either of the albums is a 2CD affair, that they DON'T ruin this by using modern remixes as filler. A lazy bonus disc of Shanghi Suprize 2002/2003/2004 remixes of System Addict would be so wrong... I'd rather have original mixes like (How Dare You) Stay Out Of My Life and that odd (inferior) remix of "If I Say Yes" from the first Greatest Hits.

Can't imagine they'll use the modern remixes as the recordings are Tent's/Buster's.
Not bothered about How dare you (hated it then and now!!) and love that US mix of If I say yes, especially the full 12" version.
My only worry is that all the 12" versions included will be those you can get on compilations already.
Surely the 7" version of Slightest Touch has to be on Silk and Steel?!
Getting impatient to know the tracklist now, and whether we'll be stuck with 1 cd versions...

The Slightest Touch was overhauled quite a bit for its 7" release. A huge improvement, as the album version had never struck me as single material.

You are right, I was hugely disappointed with the DVD quality for the videos up to 1988 which seemed to be ripped from a worn Greatest Hits VHS. The additional videos were noticeably better. In fact my own original GH VHS was better quality!

Sony have now put up the videos on YouTube and they all seem crystal clear to me so maybe they found the masters after the fact???

Well according to Cherry Pop's facebook page they never release in December, and a week ago said they would have news in a weeks time....so i'm still hopeful.
Someone on the fivestar luxury forum seems to be in the know and says details to appear soon, art design is half done. Same person said it woul d be a 1 cd for both albums, (boo) but still no official confirmation yet...

Hmmm. I will only buy these now for 12"/7" mixes. I'm not so interested in instrumental B-sides... I'd rather have everything but if it's a choice, I want the mixes. Bitter sweet news! Can some Five Star osessive please knock up a tracklist of original album + remixes?

I'm thinking of the "True Blue" remaster. Two completely pointless, already-on-the-maxi-single bonus tracks.

What I don't get is that if Sinitta can warrant her first two albums getting the two disc treatment, why can't Five Star? I'm looking forward to the Sinitta ones too, mind! But Wicked barely bothered the Charts and it's two disc affair. Five Star's first two albums were 80s defining moments and sooooo much more popular than Sinitta, bless her!
