Expressen has published their own list of performers which SVT are interested in:

    http://www.expressen.se/noje/musik/1...lodifestivalen

Quite similar to the one Aftonbladet had a while ago, just bigger.

    I CAN HAS ROOMERZ!

The Bengtzing is back with an Alexander Bard/Thomas G:Son bidrag, 'e de fel på mig' (Swedes! Does that mean 'is it wrong of me?', or do I need to find some sugar to add to my cup of fail?)

Pern strikes back with 'Desperado' which is apparently a hundred times the stomper 'jag vill om du vågar' ever was...

Just a couple of rumours of course, and there's probably no weight behind either of them, but blind speculation is what gets us all through the long pre-festival Winter, huh ladies? Exciting to see Le Kid and Sahara Hotnights on that list from Expressen, and naturally any list which includes Saade and Saucedo is a list I'm interested in.

I'd rather translate it as "Is there something wrong with me". Sounds exciting! A G:son/Bard song has a 100 percent AMAZING guarantee.

The fact that Alexander Bard has re-united Norell Olsen Bard, his Swedish version of SAW, is extremely exciting too. Even though they're apparently giving the song to Lasse Stefanz (God knows why...)

Nope, it's official! Although you've got a couple of things wrong.

Alexander Bard hasn't composed Linda's song with G:Son. But he has co-composed the song which Lasse Stefanz will perform.

And it's not Pernilla Wahlgren who's back, it's Pernilla Andersson.

Any chance of Mohombi returning to the Melodifestivalen stage, what with Bumpy Ride doing so well internationally now?

  7. #32
    Linda!
I have to go to Sweden.

  8. #33
Oh my ABBA! I thought this was just anticipatory yammering about what might be, but NO! Hooray for Linda!

Ick, apols for my slight 'actual facts' fail earlier - I had no idea the first four songs and performers were actually, officially released idag!

I'm gonna say now: who's actually, genuinely interested in some PJ Forums Melodifestivalen meet-ups? Let's all of us descend on Scandinavium (or wherever the Bengtzing deigns to lend her presence), and get our party on! We can organise tickets and travel and all kinds of excitement should anyone actually wanna go? My lame-ass livetweeting from WITHIN the venues? Yeah, go on then! Can't get much more live than that! =D

Wait, hold on, where the fuck did Linda Ronstadt come from? Like Desperado Linda Ronstadt?
Or is there some other Linda Ronstadt that I don't know about?

I just posted Sweden's entry in the JESC thread!

    http://www.popjustice.com/forum/inde...632#msg1229632

'Allt Jag Vill Ha' was written by Thomas G:son and Arash!

Well, I live an hour away from Gothenburg... Not sure if I'm all that much for actually seeing it live though, since it's so obvious that every single number is catered for the television viewers and not the live audience. And I don't know how I feel about waving a balloon frantically in front of half the Swedish population. Definitely count me in for any kind of pre- or after-party though!

And what about Linda Ronstadt? Where did her name appear?

Ditto. Is she competing? I don't know much, but I know I love her.

It's my dream to wave a balloon at Melodifestivalen (well, I do have other dreams before that, but none of them appropriate to share in this thread), although with my luck mine would pop in the first two minutes and I'd have to steal one off a seven year old girl.

I found that Expressen list again and in the position where Linda Ronstadt is listed above in bosley's post (thank you for your pun, MadeinHeaven, brilliant as usual), their website says Bengtzing. So they at least got that part right.

    Interesting: http://www.expressen.se/noje/musik/1...lodifestivalen

Basically it says that "jokers" as we know them is an abolished concept, although I guess if they land a big name they won't hesitate to try and keep it hidden. No point in confirming Paparizou at this point, now is there? After the hype built up last year that resulted in Pauline, I can see why they're trying this.

Ah HA! I've figured it all out.
I just Google translated that article because my plans of Swedish fluency have been a big ol' misslyckas katastrofalt and, for some reason, it translates "Linda Bengtzing" as "Linda Ronstadt."

    ARE YOU LISTENING GOOGLE???
"Sometimes I hate myself for wanting you, but then you only have to say you love me to make it worth it..."

    That's true!
    Google is bad.

I'm up for it! I've got plane tix booked for the final weekend! I understand it's hard to get tix to the final unless you're a member of one of the schlager club things....I 've sort of given up on that idea and would be happy to go to a Saturday rehearsal.

The "webbjokern" entries are here! Any favourites? http://svt.se/2.139514/webbjokern_2010

I'd love to join a meet-up as well. I live in Northern Sweden but just pick a semi-final/final town and I'll book the train tickets!

Ooh, I know what I'll be doing tonight! Watching the jokers last year was a true exercise in comedy. And I didn't even end up noticing"Come And Get Me Now," which I still think was a fantastic song, although maybe that was just because Andreas Highlights hadn't been involved at that point.

What I'm really keeping my fingers crossed for is that the woman who submitted "Tribute To Michael Jackson" is back this year!

Aftonbladet reports that more performers might be confirmed by SVT tomorrow - and that one of these is Caroline Wennergren.

That's not the case at all actually. My friends and I have always managed to get tickets over the last few years, just by being ready and online when they go on sale, with a credit card. Just as regular customers like everyone else.

You should definitely give it a go.

ZOMG! Wish You Weren't (A Part Of Me) by Tune In on the Webbjokern is fucking glorious :) That little chorus is so cute!

I'll freely admit I've only clicked on the scandi-handsomes and that was the only one that was any good. It made me smile LOTS.

Go watch. Swedes - go vote.

If I wake up tomorrow morning and they haven't announced the name of at least one act, I'm spending the day in bed.

This to me seems like a perfectly logical protest.
