Personally, I love arrogant cocks, but he just doesn't pull it off. every scene with him is agony to watch. When they're clearing out characters later in the year, he'd be one that I wouldn't be sad to see go.

I haven't seen it tonight but at the moment Natasha is my top soap character. They're handling her so well at the moment. I've always found her a likeble if slightly underused and irrelevent character but I now think that was good thing as it has allowed this sense of neediness and sadness to quietly develop in her to the point where it is becoming heartbreakingly tragic.

I've read rumours of what becomes of her and I think this has the potential to be a pretty powerful story.

But I agree I really hope this story doesn't cross the line into sensationalism and she doesn't become your cliche psycho ex, hopefully they can do better than that, the character and the actress (who is quite wonderful at the moment) deserve it.

I didn't realise that the character of Peter Barlow is supposed to be 45 years old. Leanne Battersby is only 28 - that's quite an age gap, has it ever been alluded to?

WHAT?? Dev is utterly USELESS and has been since Sunita left and only appears useful now because they've basically put him in exactly the same situation he was before she left i.e. the intervening years were a total waste. He went out with Zippy and her Mother for a while and then he brought that dreadful Uncle into our lives and that's it. Now they've merged him and his rabble with the stupefyingly useless Ashley and Claire and the sheer force of their dullness threatens to create a personality vacuum so powerful, the street could implode!

Hopefully they are all standing together discussing their horrible children when that tram comes hurtling down the cobbles.

Yeah a couple of months ago. Her exit scene was really good...she gave this tear stained speech about how she "wanted more from life than the street etc" on the cobbles and ran off into the distance. It was better dialogue than she'd had in her whole time on the show.
