Can someone please remind me - why did he kindnap Rosie Webster in the first place?

I think he resented her for 'ruining' his career as a teacher, I think he was skint and driving a cab, Fiz wouldn't go near him and he wanted to get revenge, she took the piss out of him every time she saw him in the street and he just went bonkers and kidnapped her. As you do.

So all this is a result of Rosie Webster simply being a cunt?

One of my favourite Corrie moments has to be when Rosie whacked him over the head. I shouted at the TV for joy!

The thing that annoys me about John is, he thinks he is different to every criminal out there and thinks he deserves to not be caught because he is better than than the rest of them for some reason.

If he was a heartless monster I would have no problem with him and probably be cheering him on, but the fact that he does have morals yet thinks he is actually a good person is what really gets me.

Fiz appearing at the top of the stairs was a brilliant moment. I like how even in his irrational desperation, he still tried to stop Katie having the abortion. Things like that keep him from being beyond redemption.
