Actually I found SIO to be the most light hearted and fun video Will has done. Light My Fire is by far the most pretentious.

Yep whilst i haven't seen the video and can't acclaim to hate it already!! but...
i don't like the concept of the video.

I am a huge Will fan, i've got all his CDs singles albums books dvds you name it - i have no reason to hate him, i like every single song of his first four albums and cannot wait to buy this album WHICH i am buying despite me not liking this video.

My opinion is, i like the song it's good - i don't think it's outstanding or anything. It doesn't compare with the goosebumps i had when i first heard Leave Right Now, Your Game, All Time Love or Changes but it's a nice song and it'll do. I see what they where trying ro do it with, it's good.

But....this video concept....it's like Switch It On all over again.

Will's had AMAZING videos namely Leave Right Now which is my best music video by ANY artist ever. Your Game amazing. Changes good video. All Time Love is a masterpiece. Let It Go is brilliant. I liked the Hopes And Fears video funny, amusing and catchy but this....

I don't like the concept of Will dancing it that outfit....it just looks WRONG!
I see what they're doing....going with the Trapeeze(sp!) thing... but it seems obvious parts of it are dark and the others are Will dancing probably in slow motion on that rope.

But...it's not what i imagined. He needs to appeal to the mass market and he's being niche again. This dance concept video is not gonna appeal to everyone - i'm sorry!

I wanted a video that was similar to Coldplay's The Scientist with Will moving backwards in slow motion in combination to Fix You with the light effects and dark atmosphere i think it would work with the music video.

I'll await judgement on the music video, it might be edited right and good but as a concept i hate it. I wasn't keen when Will did Switch It On either. There's a reason why i would buy a Will Young record rather than Robbie Williams.

To be Robbie's cocky, and lacking substance and i've never liked videos and he hides in those concepts like Rock DJ, Bodies etc - that are self loathing MY OPINION. I feel that Switch it On, was something like out of Robbie's playbook with the whole Top Gun thing, it was very LOOK AT ME - which i don't like. With Will i've always liked the emotion and sincerity of songs hence songs like If Love Equals Nothing and Lovestruck being rated VERY highly by me. I would rank Will's four albums ALL in my Top 10 albums ever! that's how much of a fan i am and have been since 2002! so i want to like this. But i was hoping for a different concept....at least there's 2 more singles to go.

I would much rather have a story like All Time Love or Leave Right Now.
Will dancing in slow motion in the streets to fire effects is my idea for this video following someone around it 'feeling' like jealously. Will in THAT outfit is just gonna make him a laughing stock.

I showed the pics to someone i know and they laughed! and i'm sure every other youngster would do the same!! It's sad....i agree!

Where's the Will that i liked when he did Leave Right Now, Your Game and All Time Love - the outstanding story concepts that made me go WOW!

I'm sure the album is Amazing, because Will's albums are always nothing less but carefully he's started moving away from the story concept videos which he excelled at...and now he's doing this concept and i hate it! :( (the concept NOT the video).

Hmmm, sorry for the rant - i just hoped he would go for a really commercial video that would appeal to everyone and judging by those pics it's very niche again.

I'll await judgement on the video though, they may turn it around but as a concept don't like it.

Long And Winding Road - pulled it off (well Will did anyway!!) amazing Live vocals
You And I - Love the outdoor scenes, and all the multiple angles...really works
Don't Let Me Down - nicely edited...captures emotion of song perfectly.

Friday's Child - Great concept, really nice for the summer - really worked!
Switch it On - Hate the Top Gun, hate the baseball scenes. Think he was taking himself too seriously at this stage.

Who Am I - Really really works with the song....
Changes - The ending is amazing. Really good!
Grace - Alright concept, but it's bit of a let down not as original as it could be - satisfactory.
Let It Go - Brings emotion of song out perfectly, perfect fit for song.

The Alias remix of Jealousy is actually 100% amazing. Seems fairly by the numbers until the breakdown and resurgence so incredible you will find yourself spontaneously transforming into your raviest inner club kid when it happens.

When I think of bandwagon jumping I think of Leona's rushed output 'Collide', Syco not even baulking at upsetting people it took inspiration from to get it out on air before they could. Awful! Makes me quite irritated.

Will has been getting this album together for years, working with Groove Armada and many others.
