Thread: MDNA

Hung Up radio edit?! That edit takes away the two best sections.

I find it more concise and enjoyable for some reason, even though the breakdown in the album version is amazing. I just like how the radio edit fades out at the end unlike the album version where the ticking clock gets louder and louder until it's supposed to segue into Get Together's alarm clock.
There is only one Queen of Pop, and she does not share power!

You could always listen to the unmixed album version!

Burning Up was very, very close to making it, but then I remembered Get Together. Also, Into the Groove would sit comfortably at 7. Like a Prayer, Promise to Try, and Papa Don't Preach would fill out the top ten.

Gang Bang would've made a great 'controversy' release. It'd sabotage her own project but, it's not like she gives a shit about them anymore with her fancy shmancy stadium tours and it would have been complete and utterly 'Madonna'.
I remember her manager telling fans during the European leg that they were going to try and release "Gang Bang" and "Love Spent". He also said that they were "still learning!" in regards to her promo situation for MDNA, whatever that means. Anyway, I'll forever be mourning the fact none of it materialized. Her upcoming #secretproject seems like it'll be controversial enough though.

Love Spent is insane, really the only song on MDNA that is befitting of her legacy for great tunes... perhaps Masterpiece also.

Those would have been great single choices. Give Me All Your Luvin' is cute but it wasn't a great 1st single and adding Nicki and M.I.A on it was totally unnecessary.

I wish Madonna still gave a fuck. In a time where the big mini movie music video is back in fashion I hoped Madonna would take full advantage of that and do something great.
