It's the TTF version on my copy of Now 32?

I've just found the Runaway video on YouTube!

How how exciting! Shame its not quite the full version - how mid 90s is the part at 2:07 (or at least II think that) I had a liver performance of Runaway (well mimed) for MTV which I uploaded to Youtube. Got blocked due to copyright and I lost the original video. It was the Biff & Memphis mix.

At least I think it was from Now 32.... (I dont own the CD), all I know is that I have an mp3 radio edit of the original version and its not fan made (and frustratingly only 128 kbps)

Now I know who sings what, I think it was definately Kerry who had the better voice, probably why she was always given the choruses. Am I right in that Kerry is the second girl in the 2002 Arms of Loren video?

And did the 2006 remixes of Arms of Loren that AARW commissioned ever leak? I have the Dancing DJs and KB project ones but I know there were two Kenny Hayes ones and a Love to Infinity one

Unless it was just early copies of Now 32 that had the original one, it wasn't on Now 32 coz the version I have is the TTF one and I don't own it anywhere else.

Possibly. I have no idea where the edit would have come from... I much prefer it to the TTF one.

My version of Now 39 has a version of Let's Go Round Again by Louise that has completely different vocals to the single/album version or remixes.

It's a shame E'voke never did more than the 5 tracks, but given that AOL was expected to be a top 5 hit and only hit #25 I guess a swift follow up was never on the cards. I still have no idea why the Nip N Tuck mix was the lead radio version. The original is good but the edit is a bit of a mess.

For anyone interested, all the Single EP's are available for download on iTunes and Amazon. The videos are also on iTunes.

The singles (albeit only the tracks on the CDs) have been up for a bit, only noticed the videos the other week- though only the 2002 Arms of Loren video is up- not the 1996 one

This edit of the Steinway mix is how the radio edit should have been!

Agreed- there was a Steinway radio edit on the promo CD but it still had an annoying intro bit rather than going straight into the piano

Some new remixes are due for release mid April- the Cagedbaby edit is already on itunes

    http://soundcloud.com/pinballrecords...-loren-pinball

These radio edits dont seem to be the final versions- the Cagedbaby soundcloud version repeats the first verse and omits the second but the version on itunes doesn't do this and has the second verse, and the Rudedog edit on soundcloud ends horrifically!

Remix package out now on Beatport

Looks like Runaway is getting the remix re-release now http://soundcloud.com/pinballrecords...b-set-preview/

Most interestingly is this from the description: "‘Runaway’ is the second release from Pinball Records following on from E’voke ‘Arms of Loren’ remixes and prior to the release of two brand new singles from the E’voke album in 2013"
    ALBUM???!!!

For anyone interested I did a bit of background digging. The record label that is releasing the new mixes of Arms Of Loren and Runaway (Pinball Records) is owned by the guy who owned Pulse 8 records (who E'voke were signed to after Arms Of Loren). Given there was a year and a half gap between Arms Of Loren and Missing You being promo-d on Pulse 8, it's not inconceivable that they recorded an album during that period and this is what is being released in 2013 (it's more conceivable than Kerry and Marlaine getting back into the studio 13 years after Missing You missed the Top 200). The album would sound horribly dated though so presumably it will all be remixed.

I wonder if any of the non CD single tracks will make it onto Itunes etc:

the Tall Paul and Gems for Jem remixes of I Believe
The original radio edit of Runaway
The Steinway radio edit and French remixes of Arms Of Loren
The full length Steinway mix and Echobeatz remixes of Missing You (and the Pulse 8 remixes)
The Ferry Corsten and D Ramirez dubs of Arms Of Loren 2002

Whilst I'm glad when old singles get digital releases, it does always annoy me it's basically the CD singles that get released (when really you had probably bought the CD single off Ebay and ripped it into iTunes) and the harder to digitise 12"/cassette/promo only tracks don;t get released. Oh well, my obsessive compulsive disorder I guess!
