I'm sure the music videos will be included. I didn't mind the HoE reissue but I didn't like that the music videos were not on the DVD. The music videos were such an integral part of that album's success.

I suppose DITC will be included on HOE since it was released under MCA?

The soundtrack is on MCA, but it's a compilation of tracks licensed from other labels. In this case, I.R.S. Records (EMI), who would still own the rights to the track. What tended to happen with artists who weren't selling well in the 80s was their labels would throw recordings on soundtracks to make a bit of money and hopefully expose people to the act via a successful film/soundtrack. Donna Summer's shelved album, I'm A Rainbow, had a few songs plucked from it and donated to soundtracks when she was a bit lost in the post-disco early 80s. I.R.S. were just doing a similar thing with Belinda post-Go Gos.

Well it only took her 23 years to work that one out after the "Summer Rain" being released in winter debacle.

I wish somebody would cover Summer Rain as a boy/girl duet. But not in a cheesy way. It'd be great on a film soundtrack.

And was I plead insanity actually a single? I know it was in the first best of, but I just assumed it was plonked on there to beef up the greatest hits with an amazing album track?
