Well, after the craziness of record Store Day 2012, I got home to a load of nice CDs in the post;
Limhal - Don't Suppose (finally!): Sounds amazing, but the packaing is very average. No additional photos, just 12 pages of liner notes.
Five Star - Between The Lines/Rock The World: Definite improvement on the first two Cherry Pop titles. I went straight for the 12 minute Hit Mix, being a Megamix fan, and it's pretty good. Will check out the full content later...
Hazell Dean- Always : Got a signed one, so that's nice, even if it's in biro (for some reason I hate that). It's as good as previous Cherry Pop/PWL releases, but a slight note that the saturation on the booklet is a tad dark, which we know seems to happen a lot but the PWL titles have always managed to avoid this until now. It's just things like the blue graphics are now very, very dark blue, almost purple. Otherwise, sound is fantastic and all the usual trimmings are there (illustrated discography, artist comments, era photos). A jolly good release!
