I'm saying it now, I will cry. I cried at Ugly Betty, teared up at Lost (moreso when Jin & Sun died) and now this. Cannot wait!

I have a feeling it will end with the ladies playing poker and me ugly crying.
“Before you embark on a journey of revenge, dig two graves.”

I never cry at TV shows but Ugly Betty brought me really close! I hope this does too.
I liked VERY much the ending of the last episode.
The season could've been defintely better. The story had a lot of potential, but the writing has been extremely weak. But I'm not complaining: it still had great moments and the storyline was way more interesting than the ones of the middle seasons.
It's ending on a high note, not as high as it used to be, but in a decent position.
It's definitely a show that I'm going to enjoy watching repeats.
I don't really like the idea of Bree's possible outcome centering around a character who has been in the show for two episodes, nor do I like the fact that it is Renee's wedding that seems to be of focus, considering she's a pretty pointless character.
The ending to the last episode was brilliant, I must say.
"Ardent Rihanna mud-slinger"
Well, I suppose they'll tick all boxes next episode, wedding, birth, possibly someone leaving the lane?
Throw in a death and by no means we have a cliche finale! (that was sarcasm)
It does seem strange to have Renee's wedding as the last episode, seeing as nobody cares about her.
The Janines...
It should be Edie's wedding, not Edie 2.0 getting married to someone she's known for a year. It would have been a nice ending after her marriages and one night stands. Shame she had to get electrocuted.

Marc Cherry has always gone on about having a clear idea of the ending but he couldn't have anticipated it ending with a season like this so I wonder how much of the finale has been made up as they've gone on...
Katherine's return and offer will be very deux ex machinae.
Fully prepared to cry at the finale when I watch online tomorrow morning.. although I'm 99.9% sure I know what's going to happen. I mean, Carlos is bound to 'come clean' to save Bree and protect his wife, right..?!
I tuned in for the last five minutes, which I think brings my total for this year to about six minutes, and I have to say it ended on a surprisingly poignant note (although all the dead people lining up on the Lane was a bit creepy) and the very last scene was pretty great. It's too bad the show grew into exactly what it was satirizing in the beginning, but you have to admire ABC and everyone involved for giving this show about four women, three of whom are all in their mid-40s, eight years of life.
Of course, the first season is classic television.
Meet your new stepmom, kid.
I have mixed feelings about that series finale. I'm glad it chose to get the arc about the murder over and done with in the first hour - however, let's not kid ourselves, there was no real stakes here (Bree was never going to go to jail), the whole storyline made no sense from the get-go and there were plenty of plot holes left in it's wake.
The finale did a lot of emotional scenes very well. Intentional or not, the epilogue of 'what happened next' seemed to pitch Wisteria Lane as a place that the Housewives couldn't be happy unless they left and went their own separate ways. Even Katherine's blink-and-you-miss-it return reaffirmed that message it seemed.
With that in mind I would have actually preferred Season 4's ending, although having had that four years ago I'm not surprised we weren't going to get a variation on it. I think what we did get really did overshoot by going to the other extreme though...
One thing which struck me as odd about the epilogue was not that it finished on Susan's departure from the lane, however we didn't get anything on what happened next to her after what they did with the other three. It struck me as sad that after the elaborate happy endings given to Bree, Gaby and Lynette that Susan ended the show pretty much as she started. In that sense, killing off Mike was quite a mistake.
It would have been more satisfying for me if they had thrown in a scene into the epilogue that the housewives did re-unite rather than the implication they never would again. For the show to put the core characters through literally getting away with murder this past season, I found it unlikely they'd not stay in touch.

I shed a tear but mostly because of the references to previous characters etc. It made me remember how amazing the show used to be. That being said I did enjoy the finale. I'm glad Rene's wedding wasn't the total focus of the last episode because she's been such a non-character.
I kind of felt annoyed by the crammed montage of 'what they did next', I didn't think it was needed and it almost seemed a bit rushed. I think a longer scene of them all together playing poker one last time would have been more fitting. I did like the scene of Susan leaving with all the ghosts watching on.
I'm really going to miss the show - I've been watching it since I was at college!
I liked the finale and I'm gonna miss the show.
The finale was great. The final 10 minutes were fantastic - I did shed a few tears when Susan was leaving with all the ghosts of Wisteria Lane watching on. Shocking how many people had actually died there.
The flash-forward scenes did seem a bit odd to me. We only ever heard of Mary-Alice talk in the past and present, so to just hear her talk about their future seemed kind of strange, but it all made sense in the end and it fulfilled them all nicely. It seemed like they left Susan's future open-ended. To me it wouldn't have felt right if they had said she re-married.

I didn't realise Betty Applewhite died, I wonder when that happened. My gut reaction says that was all awful though.
I didn't watch this season at all but I decided to watch last 15 minutes of series finale and it was a little bit hilarious and sad but the ending was too hilarious. Nice ending but this show should've end a long long time ago.
˝She is a sexy, bionic woman, and every damn one of you will deal as she shits on your faves.˝ BEST FICTION.
A very Six Feet Under-ish ending, but I enjoyed it.
Need to gather my thoughts a bit - but; I have to love how they brought back Natalie from the very first episode to terror Lynette at the supermarket again.
Leaving out hideous expressions like 'Kelendria' (who even is that?) would be a good start. - Someboy re: Kelly Rowland's birth name
That was amazing for the final 10 minutes along. So sad! It spun out a bit too long though. At first, I was thinking 'It should have ended with the record' then, 'it should have ended with Susan' and then 'it should have ended with Mary Alice's ghost'. It was an alright ending as a whole though, I love how it all wrapped up. Did anyone spot Marc Cherry as the removal guy? Haha.

I really don't know if I enjoyed the season finale or night. I shed a lot of tears at McCluskey's death (particularly as my own dad died from cancer last year and it brought it all back) and thought it was brilliantly done, but some things just should have been left open ended. The characters' futures in particular, why do one if you're not going to do them all?! Bringing back Katherine as an uber bitch who's also no longer a lesbian was also a dreadful character assassination.
