Exactly. I just want the new album to be an ALBUM like Blackout was, not just a collection of songs. Right now it seems she's working with all the same people again when she should move on.

I need Danja to give his A-game. His work was so light on "Circus" compared to Blackout, and it's frustrating because I know - based on Blackout - Britney and Danja can gel sonically.

The new album needs to take her out of her comfort zone, "Circus" was too safe and easy. Rightfully so, but it made for a very boring album and subsequent album campaign.

    She should do straight-up trip-hop.

    It was so random.

Danja: "And now we interrupt this broadcast of dance music..." after a ballad????
I was JUST thinking this yesterday when listening to "Kill The Lights" and I my frustration reached a new peak with what shitty decisions were made in regards to the whole "Circus" project.

To be fair, I don't think Larry and Jaime had too much influence over this. I'm sure it was Larry's idea to get Max back on board, but Britney has always had the power to veto. And, let's not forget he was with her for the whole "In The Zone" era when she was clearly very hands on with the recording process.

I say get her out there with some interesting producers who will push her a bit more. I was watching that a capello montage on YouTube and even when she's messing around singing opera in "Chaotic," my mind runs wild with thoughts of her singing to the heavens - at least for some back-up - in some quirky pop song.

I KNOW. It's what I keep saying over and over again. It's not looking good though. She's already worked with Max Martin and is now heading to the studio with Fernando Garibay. 50 producers to follow.
She's going in with Danja and Jim Beanz again now in September.
    Le omgz. So exciting.

Totally! Ive got faith that the next album will be good - Id even be happy to wait quite a while between now and the release. Feeling quite satisfied on the Britney front this year, new album, some great singles and videos, and I saw her perform! Plus the 'Hits' album to come and tour DVD, thats plenty thankyou very much!

Blackout 2.0 would be amazing, but a dance style 'Confessions' album would be even better. I think her voice suits dancey tracks well, fingers crossed.

    Can you imagine?!

    "Red One, Britney Y'all!"

I wouldn't mind "Red One, It's Britney Bitch!" though

Well PJ posted that it was TBC so it could have been a single collection at first but then changed into a 7th album

    No. Just noooooooo!

She needs more 'Heaven On Earth'/'Unusual You' moments.

I'm surprised at the love for Heaven On Earth, for me its the one and only crap song on Blackout.

While Heaven On Earth is a good song it's a bit airy fairy and I definitely wouldn't like her to go in that direction.

Yeah I can bare it once, but as a general direction for future music, no way. The same for Unusual You. (Am I the only person in the world who dislikes this song?)

Haha only if she did it with the passion that Heidi Montag did on Fashion. HEEEIDI!

ALSO! This is so exciting! I wasn't expecting this topic to be seen for like another year. I think she likes to be busy though.

I want a Dark pop album. not just a "Dance album" like "Blackout"

I love uptempo songs, but I need simples and emotional songs like "To love let go" and "State of Grace" I'm a little sick of producers like Danja and songs thematically focused on sex, she needs to experiment with Indie producers and songwriters.

I want something with Clever lyrics and a Experimental Sound.

A fricking MEN. I'm actually glad radar was released instead of it.

I'm torn as to whether I would rather have a new studio album or another Greatest Hits. As much as I always want new Brit Brit tunes, it just seems a bit soon.
    M-A-G-N-E-T MAN!

Don't forget that this is the girl who released 3 albums during 1999-2001. Unless the new one is coming out tomorrow it's not too soon at all.

Darkchild, Fernando Garibay and Lady Gaga collaborations please.

As weird as it sounds, I've got used to waiting a long time for new Britney.

I personally don't want any new Britney unless she is going to actually promote the album like she use to prior to 2004. I still love her tunes but her public persona now irritates me in a way, more so than it did during the infamous meltdown. I just don't want another album thats spat out for the sake of being released. Call me childish but I like my pop stars to work for it.

That being said, stick with Danja and Bloodshy! And whoever produced Mannequin.
