I love this whole X-Factor thing, but it better not stop her from releasing music within next 12 months.

If her label is smart, they will capitalize on the X-Factor exposure by having her release a new single in time for the finale or something.

I'm almost positive we won't get a new Britney album for a quite a while. At least not until 2014 or later. She's going to be getting married, and is already involved in the X-Factor (we all know she doesn't multitask, professionally). She'll like to be home with her family when she's not occupied with the show, not in a recording studio, having label meetings and then promoting/touring all at the same time. So yes, I would say that it's highly likely that X-Factor is going to be it as long as she's on it. I personally think she wanted it to get away from doing the popstar thing, while still being involved in music.

This is seriously everything that I wanted to see! Britney being her old self, showing confidence and speaking freely! I know it's just 30 seconds, but I think it's a great indication for what we'll be getting from Britney on The X Factor.

It's hilarious because they've literally picked some of the worst album tracks Britney's ever recorded. No Unusual You, Breathe On Me, Inside Out, Toy Solider, Get Naked, Touch of My Hand etc...I hope this isn't actually called "The Best of..." because that's just an absolute joke.

Sony have most likely picked the tracks that were the least expensive to licence.

But really, if you're not going to buy it and own all this material already, there's no point in getting worked up about this release at all...

Demi needs to GO. Mid-season dropout maybe? She has no credentials, no hits, no standing in the music industry at ALL. Is she supposed to represent 'the X factor'? How can she? She even said it herself, she's practically a newborn in this business. Imagine Simon Fuller hiring Britney to do American Idol during her first album campaign. It's that stupid.
